Sconser Lodge is furnished and decorated traditionally, steeped with history and located in the most beautiful position with spectacular views surrounding it. During the winter months is when this property is used as a holiday home whilst during the summer it is used as a hotel. It is an extremely large lodge with seven bedrooms and sleeps up to fifteen guests – the ultimate family holiday! All of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities and one of these bedrooms is located on the ground floor. The lounge overlooks the picturesque bay and is by far the best room in the house on an evening to watch the sun go down whilst the fire is roaring away in the room. A sun room provides a perfect place to delve into a good book or sit and enjoy the views. The bar area is great for a family entertainment room with a darts board and a pool table which is brilliant for getting the whole party enjoying some friendly competition! If it's a special occasion whilst you are holidaying, guests can arrange with the owners prior to arrival to have the bar available and catering facilities. The gardens of Sconser Lodge provide a delightful place to sit and relax whilst taking in the magnificent views. A decked area also has a children's Wendy house and a small table and chairs which is perfect for the children to play whilst adults relax. There is access down to the sea with its own jetty for guests to use for fishing or putting a canoe into the water. Sconser Lodge really is a unique property that offers both luxury and privacy to all its guests.

A beautiful room with massive windows overlooking stunning bay. Dining Room: An extremely spacious room with superb wood panelling and one large table and several smaller tables that can be flexibly arranged to accommodate up to fifteen people. Kitchen: An exceptionally large kitchen with 16 ring gas cooker and large gas ovens suitable for group catering, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. A pantry leads off the kitchen with deep sinks and extra cupboard and work service space. Bedroom 1: With two single beds, TV and en suite shower room with shower enclosure, WC and wash basin. Sun Room: With stunning views across the water. This room is a lovely second lounge with views across the water. Cloakroom: With WC and wash basin. Bar Area: With large, open fireplace with table and chairs enjoying stunning views across the water. Darts and pool table available to guests (returnable deposit required for pool table payable direct to owner). Although bar area will be closed, full bar and catering facilities can be arranged for special occasions by prior arrangement with the owner.

The Hebrides/Skye region
The Isle of Skye lies just off the west coast of Scotland and is now connected to the Scottish mainland by a road bridge at the Kyle of Lochalsh. One of the largest of the western isles, Skye provides for an ideal holiday location with plenty of amenities for family holidays yet retaining a stunning beauty and tranquillity for a peaceful break in northern Scotland. This is a great spot for wildlife lovers, whether it's on the land, in the air or on the sea. Keep a look out for elusive otters and dolphins or if you're really lucky you might glimpse a passing golden eagle! It's easy to take to the sea and boat hire is readily available.
Broadford, Isle of Skye
The Isle of Skye is a stunning area to explore and there are plenty of different walks to choose from to take in these amazing sights such as beautiful waterfalls or vast countryside. There are also a handful of beaches located within Skye and are perfect for enjoying magnificent views or alternatively, Portree Harbour offers boat trips for visitors to explore the scenery and the local wildlife. Trotternish Trekking is a horse riding centre that provides a great place for the whole family to explore the area. Other outdoor activities include cycling with many different cycle routes, fishing and golf clubs. For those wishing to soak up some history, there are an abundance of Castles to explore such as Dunvegan Castle or Skye's Heritage Centre. There are a handful of Museums such as Skye Museum of Island Life or Staffin Museum and art galleries are also common within Skye for those who love to observe some beautiful work.
