The Cottage has 3 double bedrooms and two bathrooms and is set over three floors. A very well equipped kitchen, a dining room with a log fire and a light and airy sitting room make Rose Cottage a delightful base for your holiday. Outside is a walled patio and raised terrace, with chairs and tables, perfect for a barbecue.

We welcome dogs and children and have a range of accessories to make your holiday easier - dog dishes, dog beds, travel cot, booster high chair and stairgate. Also a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, freezer and, of course, all cooking facilities and plenty of crockery, cutlery and extras.

Plenty more beaches and entertainment are a short drive from Brixham. The West Country region

Devon is a beautiful County in the Southwest of England, U.K. Miles of beaches, coastal walks and plenty of holiday activities, the area is popular with both British and overseas visitors.

The historical city of Exeter and the picturesque towns of Brixham, Totnes and Dartmouth are all well worth a visit. Totnes has its own currency, "The Totnes Pound" and many independent and fascinating shops. The seaside towns scattered along the coastline have many attractions; boat trips, fishing, snorkelling, water sports, or simply relaxing on the beach (some of which are dog friendly all year round).

Devon is typical of the South West of England, rolling hills, sandy beaches and the mild climate give it a real holiday feel and make this county a special place to visit.

Brixham is a traditional fishing port on the South Devon Coast. A popular holiday destination, there are beaches, restaurants, shops and cafes and a beautiful harbour from where you can see the fishing fleet set sail.

The ferry will take you across the Bay to Torquay, giving a stunning view of the coastline and maybe a sighting of the dolphins which spend time in the bay. If you enjoy the nautical life, there are many boat trips, sightseeing and fishing, all available directly from the harbour.

Dog friendly beaches within walking distance, lots of green parks and gardens and picturesque narrow streets and steps all make Brixham a relaxing and friendly place to spend your holiday.

There are lots of festivals throughout the year: Trawler races, Fish fest (a music and food festival) and firework displays. Brixham has a full size replica of the "Golden Hind" in the harbour and the Torbay Lifeboat is stationed at the marina.

So much to do and see, you won't be disappointed!

Had the most wonderful holiday here. Cottage was beautifully presented, very well equipped and ample space, even with 3 couples sharing. Great restaurants and pubs in town and found some great jogging… More

We are delighted you enjoyed your stay at Rose Cottage and found so many things to do. Brixham has a wealth of good seafood restaurants and many traditional pubs. It has its roots in the fishing community and has many activities throughout the year, meaning that there is plenty to do!
Thank you and we'd love to welcome you back any time,

"Lovely cottage with home touches"

Really dog and human friendly with lots of home from home touches to make the stay easy and convenient in a lovely part of the world. Real Ale drinkers will love it with the pub literally across the road serving a variety of guest beers although their very friendly cat won't allow dogs in!

Thank you for your kind comments! We like to think that Rose Cottage is a home from home and Brixham is an easy, relaxed and friendly holiday destination. It is wonderful for dog walking too and we welcome pets at Rose Cottage!
