Set in the beautiful county of Wicklow known as "The Garden of Ireland", Daintree is a 2500 sq ft 4 bed modern bungalow situated on a private road with a 1/3 of an acre of private garden. Just 5 minutes walk to one of Ireland's safest and most desirable blue flag beaches - Brittas Bay. The house has a large living /dining room that leads to a spacious patio furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine Al fresco. With two double en suite bedrooms and two twin bedrooms, the bungalow is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.
This house is also ideal for golfers as it has some of Ireland's top courses on it's doorstep - "The European Club". Other courses include Druids Glen & Powerscourt to name but a few. There are two traditional Irish pubs beside you which serve food & drink all day along with some great restaurants in nearby Wicklow only 5km away. This house suits all types, a perfect base to explore the mountains and lakes of Wicklow.

The South East Ireland / County Wicklow region
Co Wicklow is known as the garden of Ireland. It has beautiful landscape with great mountain walks. Look up 'The Wicklow Way' online and check it out. It is a famous walk measuring over 100km which can be joined and left at various stages. Powerscourt Gardens and Waterfalls are only 10km away. Set in a country estate with stunning grounds to explore, great as a family day out. The estate has restaurants and shops you can visit. The climate in this area is the best in Ireland. It is known as the "Sunny South East". It is renowned for it's good weather. You can explore the Dublin and Wicklow mountains from this base. You could spend months finding dozens of stunning locations. County Wicklow has it in abundance.
For all golfers, Co. Wicklow has some of Ireland's best courses. Druids Glen was voted Ireland's top course in 2005. They have added 'Druids Heath' to this as a second course in amongst the Marriott Hotel. On your doorstep is one of the British isles best links courses. Remember, the house is situated beside the beach so 'The European Club' is a links golf course 1km from the house. Tiger Woods used this course as one of his practise courses for his preparation for the 2002 British Open. You are spoilt for choices when it comes to golfing in Co. Wicklow.
Brittas Bay area
Brittas Bay is synomonous with the best beach on the east coast of Ireland. For years this has been the place to be. The towns of 'Wicklow' and 'Arklow' are 5km in either direction from the house and offer you great shopping and restaurants. Brittas Bay itself has a shop 1km up the road beside the local pub 'McDaniels'. This has been recently renovated offering all patrons a special Irish pub atmosphere with traditional music and great food. You can also travel 1km in the other direction and find 'Jack White's Pub' which will offer you the same traditional feel.
Brittas Bay is the perfect location for all outdoor activities whether it's swimming, walking, golfing, horse riding, surfing, windsurfing, bike riding, running etc.

Fly to Dublin using www.ryanair.com / www.aerlingus.com - 1 hour from the city Ferry to either Dublin city 1 hr, Dun laoghaire 45 mins, Rosslare 1.5hrs - Irish ferries, Stena line, The drive is very straight forward, follow the N11 out from the city to Brittas Bay
