A terraced house based in Ashton close to the popular North Street with its pubs, restaurants, theatre and comedy club. One double bedroom and a substantial family room. Two living rooms, two shower rooms and a fully equipped kitchen with balcony and patio garden. 20 minutes walk from the city centre. On Street parking.
First Floor - Two good size bedrooms each with TV and ample space for your belongings. On the same floor are two shower rooms each with shower, toilet and sink with mirror over.
Ground floor - Two living rooms, one with a sofa bed , easy chair and TV. One has Freesat and a DVD player and the other has Virgin Tivo system which allows TV catch up and on-demand. There is also a breakfast kitchen with a back door going onto a balcony with steps leading down to a patio garden. The kitchen is fully equipped including microwave, washing machine and hopefully everything you need if you are really self-catering!
We have a travel cot and high chair available.

The West Country region
The West Country is one of the most beautiful areas of England. In one direction, London is easily accessed by rail while in the other, you are on the threshold of South Wales, Devon and Cornwall.
In the area surrounding Bristol, there are fabulous heritage sites such as historic Bath, Wells with its beautiful Cathedral and famous Glastonbury. The countryside is beautiful including the Downs in Bristol, the Suspension bridge and Lea Woods and also Ashton Court. Further afield are Westonbirt Arboretum and the seaside towns of Clevedon and Weston-Super-Mare.
For nightlife, restaurants and lovely country pubs, you're very well served in this part of the world!
I Love Bristol!
I have never in my entire life been bored or with nothing to do here. There are so many interesting things to do all year round, regardless of the weather. If you're looking for a great day out for all the family, a romantic break or a little adventure, there's a fantastic range of things to do in Bristol.
Festivals run throughout the year, including the Balloon fiesta (which you can watch from the balcony at the rear of the house), Upfest, Organic food festival, Kite festival and Ashton court festival to name just a few.
You can have a complete day and night out at North Street, shopping, eating and drinking, comedy and theatre!!
There are lovely walks you can go on from Wepner house and transport is simple with a bus route at the top of the road. Walking into town takes about 20-25 minutes and will guide you along the historic docks and beautiful buildings. My favourite has always been to walk to The Cottage pub on the docks and then catch the ferry into town.
North Street, just up the road has so much to offer. Coffee at The Lounge and a visit to the morning market at the Tobacco Factory is perfect for a sunday morning.
You can try a few great pub crawls from the house taking you around the docks and up into Clifton if you fancy visiting the suspension bridge. Just let me know and I'll send you a route!!
My local shops are great, the Co-operative and Tesco are within a 3 minutes walk and there is a lovely deli and local butchers for something special. Independent gift shops, second-hand shops and estate agents in case you're house hunting!!
If you are into a healthy lifestyle running a route through parks and around the docks is great. There's a swimming pool within walking distance. The small park next door has a hard court with hoops, there's a football and a basketball in the house in you ever fancy a jump or a kick around. If want to splash out David Lloyds is just down the road.

Obviously it is disappointing to know that someone did not enjoy their stay. Generally I get very good feedback and the last people to stay left a lovely note and some chocolates (not required after a nice stay)!
Before renting it out, I was living in this property with my own family, including 2 children of 8 and 10 years old. There is a separate flat downstairs from the property. This is individually let and obviously gives the opportunity to give additional accommodation for large families.
Since the date of this review, the cabinet with the broken glass pane has been removed and the carpets have been professionally cleaned (April 2014). As with any such property, maintenance and upgrading is a continual process, but the important thing is that this process is done rather than being neglected. The house is cleaned and checked after every booking.
All of the photos of the house are up to date and reflect the condition and facilities. I have in the past purchased a cot for a family that needed it and if a stairgate is required, for a good booking, it would not be a problem to add that – or other specifically required items. Obviously it is important to enquire about any specific requirements before arrival – I like to think I'm friendly enough to answer :-)

"Fitted all my requirements admirably."
I needed accommodation for 3 adults and 4 children aged 2,5,10 and 12, with easy access to the airport and the A4. Wepner house was ideal with all necessary facilities for cooking and 5 mins walk to a mini-market and many places to eat out if desired. I had no trouble parking close to the house.
All enquiries and reservation were handled efficiently and in a very helpful and friendly manner.
