The Bristol region
Paintworks is an exciting and lively place to stay in whilst you are in Bristol. Situated in Brislington and alongside the River Avon it's a vibrant area full of live/work spaces, film companies, digital agencies, artists and design studios.
There's also a great bar and pizza restaurant and a fantastic American style Airstream Diner who (in our opinion) do the best BLTs in town. The event space opposite hosts regular art fairs, food festivals and lots of other events open to the public across the year.
If it's a quite tranquil walk you are after then just a 5 minute skip and a hop from Paintworks is the truly beautiful Arnos Vale, a 45 acre haven of peace and quiet right in the middle of the city. Or in the opposite direction, take a walk over one of Brunel's first test bridges and along the River Avon Cycle Path which (for the more ambitious) takes you straight to Bath!

"Very cool, unusual appartment!"
Stayed here with my bridesmaids and then my husband the night before and night of my wedding, and could not fault it! The photos really don't do it justice, the main living area is a lot bigger than it appears, and the warm welcome we received was much appreciated after a long journey. The little touches with the decor really suit the appartment, and the sofa is huge and so comfortable! Would definitely stay here again (despite my parents being nearby with a free spare room!). Book now!

"Excellent accommodation for weekend trip to Bristol"
Stayed with a group of 4 girlfriends at the appartment for a weekend trip to Bristol.
Joe was excellent giving us all the information we needed prior to the stay and showing us around when we arrived. Plenty of parking available on the weekend.
The appartment is a short car journey away from the centre of bristol or a 20min walk from Temple Meads station so good location. We loved the decor of the appartment and found the visitor book extremely useful with recommendations about the area and details about the appartment.
Would thoroughly recommend the appartment.

"Off the scale - best rental I've had"
I stayed here while attending a conference in Bristol. The loft apartment is stunning, and the hosts were fantastic. They've thought of everything: bread, milk, orange juice and wine on your arrival, Bluetooth speakers to play music from your smartphone & washing powder for the dishwasher/washing machine. AND, after leaving my headphones in the apartment, joe jumped in his car and dropped them off at the airport for me!!! This was without doubt the best rental I've had. FANTASTIC :)
