About this location

The Emilia-Romagna region

The Emilia Romagna is part of the Po Valley which is one of the most fertile areas of northern Italy.

The apartment is situated less than half an hours drive from Tuscan border with the rolling hills gradually increasing into mountains.

Brisighella is very popular with the Italians for weekend visits because of its beauty.

There lovely parks, walks and an overall pleasant environment with regular festivals held during the summer and autumn months.

There is always plently to do and see. The tourist office in the village is most helpful and has an English speaking lady who will advise on any queries.

"A comfortable apartment with everything you need, in a delightful real Italian Village."

If you want a relaxing holiday in a beautiful area of Italy then this is the place to be. The apartment is clean, comfortable and has everything necessary to make your holiday perfect.
(certainly no shortage of storage space). We arrived by car and parking was easy and convenient. We were able to catch the train to Venice and Florence and there were so many places to visit we just wished we'd booked a longer stay. The hosts were welcoming and accommodating, we loved every minute of our stay.

"'The only tourist in the village'"

This apartment is modern, homely and very comfortable. It is a top floor apartment (two storied) with breathtaking Tuscany like views. You can see deer on the hilltops with the provided binoculars! The neighbours are all locals and very friendly. If you want to experience the culture of Italy this is the place to be. Brisighella is a medieval village steeped in history with a Romanesque church first recorded in 909. There is a welcoming tourist office in the village to plan your stay. Florence is not far away with all the wonders of the 'Uffizi Museum' where you can see Botticelli's 'Birth of Venus'/ Caravaggio's 'Medusa', Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo paintings! Then relax back in the village at the pool, cook in the apartment, dine on the terrace, or try the many restaurants in the village which are to a high standard. Have been to this apartment 4 times and have taken my two teenage children who were very impressed and felt safe and welcomed in Brisighella. They loved showing off in the pool and conversing with the local teenagers.

"Don't bring any clothes!"

Apartment was basic but sufficient for a holiday stay as long as you don't plan to spend too much time at home. There are balconies and a roof terrace for outside space. Unfortunately, the doubl… More

I feel that I did all I possibly could to make this guest feel welcome, even offering to arrange for someone to meet them at the train station on arrival if required only to have received a bad review. I feel that it was unreasonable to say that the apartment is basic when it is not. There is TV, DVD player, hair dryer, washing machine and very well equipped kitchen including iron, toaster. This was our first year of letting so we did have some issues to deal with however I can assure you our clothes are locked away and fresh linen and towels will be provided on arrival. The apartment will always be spotlessly clean for all guests to enjoy.

"superb accomodation central for touring"

excellent information from owners as to location and facilities stayed twice here and thoroughly enjoyed each time weather great and roof sun trap was a super way to relax plenty of things to do and see in the area and a hire car was a big bonus for us breakfast on the balcony was a great start to the day and when we needed to use it the local supermarket 800 metres away provided every facility all in all rates as our most enjoyable holidays ever
