Owned by UK residents, this property is ideal for visiting family who have emigrated, or exploratory trips for those who are contemplating it. Or just a great family holiday, within easy reach of all main attractions! ******************* PLEASE NOTE: THIS PROPERTY IS CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION, HENCE THE EXTERNAL GRAPHICS RATHER THAN PHOTOGRAPHS. BUT IT IS AN IDENTICAL PROPERTY AND THE SITING AND LAYOUT ARE ACCURATE. We visit grandchildren in Australia for 2 months of the year, hence our decision to build. There is no point in it being unoccupied for the rest of the time. We will first occupy on our next visit in Mid October 2008. It will be available after we leave in Mid November. The Queensland region
South Queensland is sub-tropical, with year round sun. Hottest in Dec/Jan, coolest in July/Aug. Most rain falls in the hottest months.
The house is within easy reach of all main attractions. The spectacular glasshouse mountains and Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo are only 30 mins away. The Gold Coast & Surfer's Paradise is 55 mins away, with Sea World, Wet & Wild, Dreamworld, Movieworld, Australian Outback Spectacular etc.
The Sunshine coast with it's great beaches and swimming is 45 mins north, with Bribie Island nature reserve around the same time.
There are lots of good quality golf courses in the region.
Brisbane / Narangba area
Brisbane with all its attractions & nightlife is only 30 mins away by car, or from Narangba railway station, just 1Km down the road. Narangba station has been newly renovated, with extended parking area, but is within easy walking distance.
The major town of Burpengary is 5 mins away by car, with all main shopping, commerce and services. Narangba village, within walking distance, has local shops and a bakery.
How to get there
Fly from all major UK airports into Brisbane with Quantas, Singapore air, Korean air, Emirates. Stopover locations depend on airlines, but all have direct changes for straight through journeys. A good company to book through is www.dialaflight.com.
Car hire at Brisbane airport, recommend Abel car hire for good rates. The house is only 20-30 mins north of the airport via the Bruce Highway (M1)

Further details indoors: A high quality privately owned second family home, fully furnished, air conditioned, with fully equipped kitchen and laundry. All cooking equipment, crockery, bedding/linen and towels are provided. The covered alfresco area is equipped with gas barbeque, table and chairs. The heated outdoor pool is fenced off for safety.
The master bedroom with en-suite has a queen size double bed. In addition to the sleeping accommodation listed, a travel cot is also provided.
Further details outdoors: Located in a quiet semi-rural cul-de-sac with other brand new exclusive properties. There are well kept playgrounds for the use of children in the immediate area.
The property has a double garage and additional parking for 2 cars.

The owner's weekend rates apply to: Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights
NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion. Costs are all inclusive. A bond/deposit of 20% is payable at point of booking, by cheque or bank transfer. A contract is issued at that time. The bond is retained to cover any damages or breakages and is returnable at the end of the occupancy. The bond will be non-refundable if cancellation is made within 8 weeks of occupancy. Full payment is due no closer than 30 days prior to arrival. Further terms and conditions are contained within the contract.
