Home description

"Bayside Beauty "is a well kept family home with gorgeous tropical feel on entrance and a lovely landscaped back garden, very private. The home has 3 bedrooms, one bathroom with vanity and toilet and a 2nd toilet down stairs. An open plan eat-in kitchen and lounge area. Fully fenced and has a lock up garage for a small car or great for storage whilst visiting. Close proximity (5 mins) to beaches, shops, train station, buses, schools, restaurants, cafe's, RSL. and hotels.

We have had many UK visitors who have enjoyed their stay and found "Bayside Beauty" to be most comfortable. .....

Closer to home, Bayside Beauty is a 1 hour drive to the northern beaches of the Sunshine Coast where major attractions include Australia Zoo , Underwater World and the gorgeous beachs of Alexandra heads, Mooloolaba and Noosa. You'll love it.

An hours drive south of Sandgate, Brisbane is Australia's "Gold Coast" where you will also find the ever popular attractions of Dream World and Dream World Water Park (exhilirating), Wet and Wild, Movie World, Sea World and lots more. All fantastic family fun day outs, you'll be glad you did.



Brisbane / Sandgate area

City of Brisbane - sunny one day, beautfil the next.

Brisbane city is gorgeous by night and beautiful by day with much to see and do. Offering transport via rail or bus. From Sandgate it is a 30 min train ride to the city and 20klm by car or bus. Brisbane city offers great night life with restaurants, boat cruises, night clubs , live theatre and Jupiters Casino. By day you could visit one of cosmopolitan markets at Southbank or take the City Cat for a cruise up the Brisbane river. You could explore the outer regions of Brisbane and head to one of our Islands and soak up nature at its best. Organised tours are plentiful, you just have to decide which one.

Sandgate/Shorncliffe area

Sandgate and Shorncliffe are suburbs that are situated on the bay. "Bayside Beauty" is a 10 min walk to the waterfront where you will find restaurants, cafe's, bikeways and walkways right along the waters edge. Electric BBQ's and picnic areas are positioned along the water for that tasty bacon and eggs brekky or sausage sizzle lunch (aussie favourites). There are parks and playgrounds for the little folk as well. The ever popular "Full Moon Hotel" is situated on the cliffs with views overlooking the bay - a great way to enjoy a relaxing lunch or romantic dinner. Fabulous food and wine are their speciality. A MUST if you come to Sandgate.

"Bayside Beauty" is 5 mins to shops, schools, train station, bus, gyms, restaurants, RSL.


How to get there

I am told that Emirates is usually the cheaper and one of the better airlines to fly with. We have friends who have flown many times from Brisbane to the UK and have always found fantastic service with Emirates.

Having arrived in Brisbane, you will find many hire car companies to choose from. Avis and Hertz are two of the well known larger companies to choose from but there also is a selection of cheaper car hire companies. Please email if more information is required.
