Our gite is well equipped for your self-catering needs; family and French cookery enthusiasts alike. Guests always comment on our attention to detail and the child friendly nature of the property.
Enjoy our heated pool, boules, table tennis, bikes and great walking and cycling straight from the garden. After a day sightseeing, it's the perfect place to take a dip, read, paint, or just unwind with an aperitif.

Our gite has been refurbished to a high standard to offer both comfort and modern living, without losing the character of our 18th Century property.
The kitchen is well equipped so that cooking is relaxed with everything to hand and each cottage has it's own barbeque and private terrace.

Ideal for families, we welcome children and have several areas set aside for fun and sport (a play area with wendy house and swings and slide), football area, table tennis and boules. Picnic tables are set under cherry trees to allow for guests to get together and make the most of sunny days.
For anyone seeking a quiet spot for a relaxing read and aperitif, there are lots of shady, secluded areas in the garden to hide away. We offer off street parking in our private car park.
There are great walks (or cycle rides) straight from the gardens, around the village and woods and beyond.
The Loire Valley / Maine-et-Loire region
A superb area to visit for those who are historically minded as well as those who just enjoy meandering around beautiful places. Angers, Saumur, Chinon and Tours are all to be explored for their historic buildings, Chateaux, gastronomy and boutiques.
The Loire Valley offers a gentle climate, with beautifully warm Spring and Autumn days and hot, sunny Summers that still allow for enjoyable sight seeing.
The Brion area
Within a short drive of le Logis du Pressoir are some of the prettiest villages bordering the Loire river. Relax at a riverside cafe or restaurant and walk along the banks of the river in early evening to see the gorgeous sunsets and hot air balloons rising above the horizon.
Boat trips along the Loire are a must and for the more active, kayaking is great fun. Trek through the ancient hunting forests for the Kings of France by horse or bike and you are bound to come across a local festival taking place, celebrating the vineyards, orchards and gastronomy of this wonderful region.
