Villa Maresca is a large 4 bedroomed,recently updated villa set in it's own private walled gardens with swimming pool, sun bathing area, BBQ, table football, fruit trees and plenty of space for al fresco dining. All bedrooms have air conditioning and mosquitto nets at the windows. Relax and unwind enjoying the fresh local fruit and vegetables not to mention some of the best wine in Italy. Less than 5 minutes drive to the nearest supermarket.
It is situated between the historic old towns of Carovigno and San Vito dei Normanni 25 minute drive from Brindisi airport. Also within easy driving distance are the beaches of the Adriatic coast where water sports are available and other places of interest including Ostuni, Alberobello (World Heritage site of the unique "trulli" houses) and Lecce "the Florence of the South".

The Puglia/Molise region
Puglia is famous for it's unspoilt landscape of olive groves, fruit trees and wine growing. It is in the heel of Italy's boot and has loads of interesting places to visit and history to explore.
The climate is hot and sunny in the summer but often with pleasant sea breezes.
If you want a change from enjoying the sun and the pool places to visit locally include, Alberobello with it's unique "trulli", Lecce with it's Baroque style architecture - the cultural capital of the South and Ostuni "The white city" situated on a hill with great views and many lovely restaurants.
The area is renowned for it's wine, producing a fifth of Italy's wine including Primativo, Negroamaro and many others.
Brindisi / S. Vito Dei Normanni area
San Vito dei Normanni is a typical Puglian historic old town which has approximately 20,000 inhabitants. There are local shops, restaurants and a market on a Monday morning.
Caravigno has a lovely old square and 15th century castle and renowned for it's ceremonial flag waving celebrations.
The nearest beach at San sabine is about 10 min drive. However there are numerous beaches along the Adriatic coastlines where watersports are available. Fasano offers golf and the "zoo safari" - a good day out for the children.
The "valle d'itria" offers stunning scenery and interesting villages - also known as the "strada del'olio" - the road of the olives.

Fly with Ryanair from Stansted to either Brindisi (25 minutes drive) or Bari (70 minutes drive) or British Airways from Gatwick to Bari
