Just a few minutes walk from the village centre with all amenities, bar/cafe, fantastic restaurant, shops etc.
The house is ideal for larger groups ample indoor space, 2 large outdoor terraces and decking area and a fantastic heated pool for all to enjoy.
We would describe the property as ideal for wheelchair users as its all on one level and features an open plan lounge,dining room and kitchen.
The corridors and doors are all wide and the ensuite wetrooms feature level floors.
Access at the front and the rear is very easy.
Everything has been done to provide an ideal environment for wheelchair users but please contact us to discuss any concerns you may have.
There is plenty of space for outdoor activities and games, childrens swings and play frame, loads games supplied.

The Poitou-Charentes / Vendee / Charente region


The Charente is one of the most beautiful and sunny regions of France. Within easy reach of large cities such as Limoges, Poitiers, Angouleme. With countless bustling towns and numerous sleepy villages to explore, you'll be spoilt for choice on how to spend your holidays.
The area has many lakes, rivers and wonderful walkways making ideal for exploring, picnicing, fishing and cycling (bikes provided at no extra charge)
Nearby Oradour sur Glane and the beautiful Chateaux of La Rochefecauld and Etagnac are well worth a visit.
Also there is a fantastic swimming lake with lifegaurds at Etagnac, With picnic areas, cafe and lakeside walks, just perfect for a relaxing day.
Approx 25 km you can take a drive to the wonderful cosmopolitan city of Limoges, famous for its porcelain and lace, it has much to offer, old and new. There are fantastic shopping experiences, aquarium, fun park, 10 screen cinema, great restaurants and beautiful architecture.
Further afield, Poitiers offer a great day out for all, with modern shopping malls and visitor centres such as Futuroscope, set within 60 hectares with street theatre, interactive games, exhibitions and a 3D space adventure.
The Puy du Fou grand park(Poitou-Charente) - take a journey where time stands still for 2000 years of history. With gladiators in battle, Vikings launching attacks on fortified castles and jousting knights, plus a 1900's market town and 18th century village. With evening shows in the summer, digital projectors and fireworks. A great day out for all the family.
Don't forget the countless vineyards and monuments to visit on a leisurely drive in the country.
The Brigueuil area
The ancient fortified village of Brigueuil is just on the edge of the Charente. A quiet village with all amenities you'd expect. Village centre is a 5 minute stroll away, with cafe,bar, restaurant, butchers, bakers shop, small supermarket, post office, small library, hairdressers, pharmacy.
Very nearby is a huge fishing lake and equestrian centre.
Nearby you can visit the village of the martyrs, Oradour/sur/Glane. It's been rebuilt with a museum, artefacts, memories and exhibitions, attracting thousands of visitors every year.
The sleepy village of Montrollet boasts a stunning fishing lake alongside an auberge/restaurant. From the car park there are several walking and cycling routes which begin and end, all signposted, ideal for either the experienced or leisure rider.
In August the nearby town of Confolens hosts its annual world music and folklore festival. It also has a velorail for rides along the riverside and countryside, plus there is a wildlife park.
During the summer months there's an abundance of festivals and fetes in the surrounding areas and village.
The town of St Junien (10 km) has a huge weekly market, airshows, big truck racing, brocantes, shops, restaurants.
