***** SORRY BUT I DON'T ACCEPT ONE NIGHT STAY BOOKINGS ON WEEKENDS IN PEAK SEASON UNLESS LAST MINUTE********
Trafalgar Apartment Two is at the bottom end of Trafalgar Street, close to St Peter's Church. It's very easy to get to by train as Trafalgar Street runs under the station concourse.
The apartment itself is on the second floor of a refurbished building, tucked way on a one-way street. It's been completely refurbished, and benefits from Virgin internet and television.
There's a bright and airy master bedroom with double bed and a further twin room with two single beds and wardrobe. There's also a pull-down bed in the lounge ideal for guests 5-6.
The living room has seating for six, as does the dining table.
There's one bathroom with bath and shower over, WC and wash basin.
Trafalgar Apartment 2 is in the ideal apartment to explore Brighton for a holiday, or to stay for work purposes. Come and enjoy!
North Laines, Brighton has come a long way in the last ten years. It's now the hub of activity and culture and close to all amenities and attractions.
There are plentiful restaurants and bars around; also since the New England Quarter has opened, there are other shops and supermarkets to enjoy just five minutes walk away.
North Laines is especially known for it's independent shops and boutiques. You can buy beautiful one-off crafts and clothes for your wardrobe or your home.
It has a real villagey feel, even though it's part of a city.
North Laine is a bohemian shopping area popular both with locals and tourists, well served with cafés, bars and entertainment venues including theatres such as Komedia, which is in a former Tesco supermarket. The latter had been closed for some years in anticipation of major redevelopment of the area which failed to materialise; in the building was for some time a covered market with a number of small stallholders, until Komedia moved in from their previous home in Kemptown.
The first branch of Anita Roddick's Body Shop, later to become a multinational business, was opened at 22 Kensington Gardens. Typical retailers include art, antiques, architectural salvage, second-hand books, music, "retro" clothing, graphic novels, musical instruments and new age paraphernalia. There is a high turnover of boutique-style shops in North Laine in general.
One of the less shopping-oriented streets, Upper Gardner Street, is closed to traffic every Saturday for an on-street market. Amongst the houses of this street are several antiques dealers.
The City Council redeveloped a gap site, constructing a new library and public square which became available to the public in 2005. This significantly changed the flow of pedestrians, which prior to this had been predominantly straight through North Laine on the main shopping streets, and is now more two-dimensional

"Great little find"
The apartment is in a fantastic location. Right in the lanes, a 5 minute walk from the station and there is a great cafe for breakfast on your doorstep.
Very spacious apartment with 2 large bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and living room.
Wouldn't advise if you are looking for a quite escape as the room is above a pub. Not too noisy that you cant sleep, but you can hear going's on from the living room.
We will be staying again in the near future, thank you for a great weekend away!
Many thanks for your review and really glad you enjoyed your stay.
I would like to clarify that the nearest pub is at the end of the street and not below the apartments. Being in central Brighton we do know that there will be some outside noise but generally we feel that with double glazing in the bedrooms we don't find this a problem.
Thanks again for booking with us and we look forward to welcoming you back again soon.

"Beautiful apartment in a vibrant part of town"
Easy to find, warm and cosy inside and very welcoming owners. Its close to everything that makes Brighton what it is but down a little side street so any late night noise is not a problem. We didn't want to leave!
