The Brighton and Hove region
80 miles of coastline means super beaches for the family; here are lovely gardens, history and heritage; castles, abbeys, priories, stately homes and historic houses. There are family amusement parks and wildlife centres; the nostalgic, the curious and the simply fun, including museums of bygones, steam railways and caves. Sussex boasts numerous theatres and arts festivals, golf courses, horse racing, many ancient churches and buildings plus large Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty over the South Downs and Ashdown Forest, (including the soon-to-be-designated South Downs National Park) - and don't forget the Sussex Pubs!
Brighton and hove
England’s loveliest and liveliest city by the sea. Brighton and Hove is fun, cosmopolitan and uniquely eccentric all year round. Regency architecture, pleasure pier, specialist shops, pavement cafés, lively arts scene and vibrant night-life everything’s in walking distance, so take time to explore and enjoy. And with a backdrop of the Sussex Downs and traditional English countryside, Brighton and Hove is a great base for exploring the region. Brighton and Hove is the most enchanting, exciting, extraordinary seaside city in Britain. With its cosmopolitan air, oodles of restaurants, feverish night-life and abundance of culture, the place defies comparison with anywhere else this side of the English Channel.
For centuries it has been regarded as a ‘pleasure dome’, and that’s not about to change. If you love life, welcome to Brighton and Hove.

It was a fantastic stay! Really really loved Darling By The Seaside. Perfect Location and enough space for all of us! If you're staying here I definitely recommend a night in, either around the massive fantastic kitchen table or in the cosy lounge area. Getting ready in the top vanity room was ace! Not all the girl could fit up there but not everyone fancied the trek up the 62 steps... (we counted top to bottom!) couple things we thought would make a difference would be a bigger bin in the kitchen..a tiny one for 18 girls wasn't enough really and no washing liquid was provided, toilet rolls we also sparse and there was no hand soap provided (little things that we quickly rectified with a trip to the shops!). could do with a couple more tea towel also! I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOUSE TO ANYONE!!!
We are delighted you had a great weekend. We will speak to the housekeepers regarding the cleaning products etc and ensure these are present in future. Thank you on behalf of Crown Gardens & the landlords

We stayed at Darling by the Seaside booked through Crown Gardens as a package. The house was newly refurbished and very classy. Every room was perfect for our stay and everything we needed was in the house. We mainly gathered in the kitchen area! The house has a dishwasher and a dressing room which was fab. The house is a great location and by the beach and within walking distance of everything. As part of the package we had a dirty dancing lesson which was great fun and a good ice breaker for a large group. The staff at Crown Gardens were very helpful and accessible.
Hi, we are delighted that you had a good stay and enjoyed the dance classes. On behalf of Crown Gardens Ltd and the landlords.
