Fabulous, centrally located, Grade II listed regency town house with sea views.
This beautiful 5 bedroom property can sleep up to 20 guests with the use of 2 double and 1 single sofa bed. There are 13 zip and link beds (which can be set up as either doubles or twins), 1 double bed, and no bunk beds. There are 4 bathrooms, plus a ground floor cloakroom/WC and a balcony at the rear of the property. The open plan kitchen/dining room on the ground floor is great for socialising and can seat 20 guests. The gorgeous, spacious living room on the first floor can comfortably accommodate all guests. All this plus a dedicated dressing room for glamming up before a night out!
Great as a base for a visit to Brighton this fantastic property is situated in the heart of fashionable Kemp Town, it's just across the road from the seafront. Local brasseries, antique shops, trendy coffee houses, pubs and restaurants are just around the corner and it's a short stroll to the centre of Brighton. The property was built in about 1826 with its original Stucco style exterior and regency porch.
The owners have taken great care to create a stylish and practical home from home for large groups.

Open plan kitchen/dining room, inspired by Cath Kidston, a bright and pleasant room to enjoy dining with friends and family. The large table extends to seat up to 20 guests. Oblique sea views from the original regency bay window, with white wooden shutters.
The Kitchen has plenty of work top space and is fully equipped for your self catering needs;
There is a useful cloakroom just off the hallway, with wash basin and WC.
Gorgeous living room located on the first floor, with dual aspect windows and oblique sea views from the original feature regency bay window. Decorated in elegant shades of grey, with rich purple accessories. Plenty of seating with a huge corner sofa and a large three seater sofa, which convert into two full sized double beds, plus a large arm chair and a further 2 seater sofa which converts into a single bed.
The flat screen TV has Freeview channels. There is a DVD player and iPod dock at the property and also Wifi access.
There is a small balcony towards the rear of the property. Guests are advised to exercise caution - not suitable for ladies in heels!

There is no dedicated parking space at the property. The majority of Brighton streets have on street parking. Most streets are a mixture of resident bays and pay and display parking north of St James St. Resident bays and pay and display bays are free to park in after 6pm or 8pm, depending on the zone, until 9 am. Please do read the parking signs on the streets for specific instructions or visit parkopedia.com for alternative parking ideas.

It was a fantastic stay! Really really loved Darling By The Seaside.
Perfect Location and enough space for all of us! If you're staying here I definitely recommend a night in, either around the massive fantastic kitchen table or in the cosy lounge area.
Getting ready in the top vanity room was ace! Not all the girl could fit up there but not everyone fancied the trek up the 62 steps... (we counted top to bottom!)
couple things we thought would make a difference would be a bigger bin in the kitchen..a tiny one for 18 girls wasn't enough really and no washing liquid was provided, toilet rolls we also sparse and there was no hand soap provided (little things that we quickly rectified with a trip to the shops!). could do with a couple more tea towel also!
I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOUSE TO ANYONE!!!

We stayed at Darling by the Seaside booked through Crown Gardens as a package. The house was newly refurbished and very classy. Every room was perfect for our stay and everything we needed was in the house. We mainly gathered in the kitchen area! The house has a dishwasher and a dressing room which was fab.
The house is a great location and by the beach and within walking distance of everything.
As part of the package we had a dirty dancing lesson which was great fun and a good ice breaker for a large group.
The staff at Crown Gardens were very helpful and accessible.
