Enter Bohemian Kemptown. Ideal for couples, a group of friends, small families of up to 3 or someone on business requiring a serviced apartment - quiet, compact and relaxing Bijou style studio apartment with direct south-facing seaview situated in Kemptown offering plenty of activities in- and outside, with the beach or an inspiring range of antique shops, coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, a cooking school, a gym with personal trainer, newsagents and supermarket and discounter all only a stone's throw away. For further distances along the seafront you could hire one or more of our push along scooters for adults and children of up to 180cm and 100kg (£25 per week) - just let us know when arranging check-in!
Top (third) floor with no neighboring flats to any side either so very relaxing, quiet space. Large south-facing windows with sunny aspect to be enjoyed from breakfast to dinner. Newly decorated with pine floorboards, flatscreen TV, DVD/CD player to plug phone in, speakers and lots of games including a pool / table tennis table to be stored away in a corner.
There is a separate small sleeping area (190cm x 140cm) with a double bed which sleeps two people cosily and which can just be left behind in the morning. In the main living area there is an additional sofa bed (190cm x 100cm); so Bijoux Belgrave Brighton Beach sleeps up to 3 if announced in advance and at no extra cost. Please note this second sleeping area is for occasional use and the property would be small for three people for an extended period of time.
The apartment comes with a fully equipped compact kitchen area (fridge with freezer compartment, 2 ceramic hobs, kettle, toaster and combination oven with microwave) and a separate bathroom with towel heater including family bath. Gas central heating provides instant and continuous hot water in bath and kitchen area and warms the whole studio up in minutes.
Not suitable for people with restricted mobility. Car not recommended due to central location.
Linen and towels provided (weekly change) and all utilities - gas, electricity, water, TV - are all included in rental rates. Upon request from holidaymakers now with payment protection for a set booking fee of 5% - there are no further fees for anything else. What you see at the top is the ALL INCLUSIVE price for the studio (rather than per person) including WIFI, end cleaning and all bills. Basic cleaning to be done by holidaymaker. The damage deposit of £200 in the quote is refundable as for all other holiday lets.

This lovely studio apartment is set back from the seafront to give view to quiet back gardens while still offering a direct seaview through a twitten (Sussex expression for a small alley). It is part of a typical Regency seafront property with high ceilings and a representative entrance. The apartment is situated on the top 3rd floor and offers a great selection of games from darts to billiards. The space is newly refurbished and very clean. Bedlinen and towels are provided for two guests as standard (please let us know if a third person will stay at no extra cost so that we can accommodate them as well). Please bring your own beach towels. Across the road on St George's Rd there is a self-service laundrette.

At the end of the twitten there is a small newsagent and a convenience store with fresh fruit and veg, surrounded by further cafes, restaurants at all price ranges, pubs and take aways open day and night. The nearby Marina offers a multiplex cinema, bowling, casino and ASDA (open 24 hours) and also a range of watersport activities such as sailing or a selection of boat trips.
The heart of Brighton with its extensive nightlife, a range of theatres, all sorts of restaurants and the Pier are all a 15 minutes scenic walk along the promenade or a five minutes taxi ride away - except the popular club Concorde 2 and a well equipped playgound with water jets which are just on the adjacent beach and the refurbished Proud Cabaret Ballroom around the corner.
There is metered parking outside of the house on the seafront side currently for £5 per day (from 9am to 8pm) - please check the signs. Free parking is currently available on Wilson Avenue which is about 10 minutes walk.

The Brighton and Hove region

Sussex will always lead you back to the sea where Brighton is the highlight along its coast. This city sometimes called London-by-the Sea will never fail to disappoint with its bustling nightlife, unique lifestyles, cultural and artistic and sporting traditions.
Brighton is the vibrant cultural centre of the South coast, and is regularly called the gay capital with its open-minded and liberal take on life. This is exemplified by the Prince Regent - well known for his decadent and playful lifestyle for whom the masterpiece, the Pavillion, was built. The narrow throughfares and 'twittens' that characterise the area were built to the original medieval town plan. Explore Brighton’s history at the Fishing Museum and cultural quarter where the city's museum can be found.
A stroll out to sea will take you on Brighton's last remaining pier - one of Britains most visited free attractions, or take a ride on the Volks – England’s oldest electric railway with the halfway station just a few steps down from Brighton Bijou. In summer open top buses are one of the best ways to see Brighton and the surrounding South Downs National Park.
ARTS & CULTURE
Brighton is home to artists, designers, writers, pop stars, actors and creative people of all kinds. Perhaps that’s why the arts are so much part of everyday life here. Just walking round you will see art and sculpture on the street and beachfront, and there are galleries and studios showing up-and-coming work by local talent. Brighton is home to many street artists' work either commissioned or less 'unofficial' for those seeking a more urban feel.
In May you will catch the annual Brighton Festival and Fringe, which takes over the city as the biggest arts fiesta in England. For four weeks, tens of thousands of people come to see hundreds of events from contemporary dance and lunchtime recitals to street theatre performances and artists’ open houses. The Great Escape runs at the same time and has now become a firm favourite with new music afficionados of all styles. Throughout the year there are festivals of jazz, dance and animated theatre, heritage weekends, plays, live music, opera, fringe theatre, cinema, comedy and cabaret - come in October to catch the spectacular White Night Festival and in December the Burning of the Clocks Parade - just two of our favourites.
Just out of Brighton you will find Glyndebourne for opera lovers and the Charleston Book festival.

If you do come by car, there is some on-street metered parking to the right of the property on the seafront - currently £5 per 24 hours (as of December 2012).

Neat, clean, cosy, well maintained studio in the heart of arguably the best place on the coast, Kemp Town, on a lovely peaceful square. Owners reliable, charming and thoughtful.

"Great flat and location!"
I stayed in this property for the weekend with two friends, we had a great time! The flat has everything you need and in a great Kemptown location super near the beach! The owner was really nice and helpful too! Was a great weekend in a stylish flat!
