Brighton House - sleeps 12
from £215 /night help
House | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 12
This 18th Century cottage is a real wonder to behold as one of the oldest listed buildings in Brighton. Still with many of its original latticed windows and beams. Its Mews like location is just metres away from the seafront. The cottage is both laid out and located uniquely so as to suit a family looking for a relaxing seaside retreat or a larger group (sleeping up to 12) who would like a more lively getaway!
Walking through the cottage's original timber door you enter in to a spacious welcoming lounge with ceiling beams and modern furnishings coming together to create an elegant socialising area.
The lounge has a flat screen TV with satellite TV with over 200 channels.
Making your way downstairs from the lounge you will find the large fully equipped modern kitchen, complete with the all-important dishwasher! The kitchen is spread across the whole of this basement floor giving you ample room to entertain and socialise with your party on this floor in addition to the lounge above.
From the lounge you can also access the first of the cottage's generous triple bedrooms which is neutrally furnished in keeping with the rest of the house. The room offers an ideal accommodation for those in your party who may have any mobility issues.
On the first floor you will find the magnificent bathroom which includes a luxurious standalone roll-top bathtub perfect for soaking in after a long day enjoying the sights that the city has to offer. It also has an over bath shower, and a double sink unit and WC.
The second of the bedrooms is also situated on this floor. Decorated to match the first bedroom, this room includes a beautiful decorative day bed that will allow you to use the room for up to three people.
Winding up the last set of stairs in this 18th Century cottage you enter the last of the bedrooms which, like the kitchen, sprawls across the whole of the floor. Again neutrally decorated this room also has elegant pieces of artwork on the wall for you to enjoy during your stay.
The surprise feature of the cottage is the hidden roof terrace furnished with table and chairs that simply lends itself to lazy Sunday morning coffee or evening alfresco eating with a glass of wine or two!

The Brighton and Hove region
Brighton is often called 'London On Sea' - so extensive is its arts and entertainment business with many of the best restaurants in the South of England just walking distance from the house. As well as having a fantastic seafront the city is right next to the South Downs with many beautiful walks to choose from, the most breath-taking of these are the walks that look down to the seafront and also those that look across the miles towards London and Gatwick
Brighton is famous for its entertainment - especially its nightlife, with some of the clubs and bars in the UK just minutes walk away. The seafront has the pier with all its amusements and attractions, whilst along the Hove seafront there are many crafts and individual shops selling a range of arts and crafts. The Hove side also has a huge range of pools and entertainments for smaller children. The city has a major theatre - the Theatre Royal - as well as a number of other venues which present international and local artists, musicians etc alike. The world famous Pavilion is a must to visit as is the lovely Museum and Art Gallery.
