Orchard Cottage is in the former walled garden of Newtimber Place, a 17th Century moated house. Formerly a potting shed, it has been recently converted to a high standard, and has been awarded 4 Stars by the Tourist Board.
Of the 3 bedrooms, 2 are en-suite, whilst the twin has its own shower room. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed with en suite bathroom with a bath and a separate shower. It has extensive views of the Downs and is in a rural location, yet is within easy reach of Brighton and Hove. Children and Walkers welcome. Weekend/midweek breaks available during the winter.

The cottage is within the proposed South Downs National Park. There are lots of rural walks nearby, yet it has the advantage of being within 9 miles of the coast and Brighton and Hove with all the amenities a city can offer. You can easily have a day trip to London.

The property is within easy reach of Brighton. By train, the property is 4 miles by taxi from Hassocks Station, which is half an hour from Gatwick Airport.
