Alternatively Hove Park is at the end of the street where there is cycling, tennis, a huge play park, climbing rock and a delightful cafe.

The South East England / Sussex region
Brighton town centre is 2km away. Here you will find tonnes of restaurants, historical buildings, a vibrant seaside and fantastic night life. You are also very close to the South Downs (an area of outstanding natural Beauty) where you can do hang gliding, kite flying, take in breathtaking views across Sussex, do hilltop walks, and visit country pubs. the weather in the region is likely to be sunnier and has less rain than most of Britain.
Brighton and Hove / Hove area
Brighton and Hove is well known as a vibrant city where you can wander along the seafront, giggle on the pier, get lost in the Lanes or take a little train to the marina; all options lead to a wealth of quirky cafes, sophisticated restaurants, fashionable shops and endless people-watching opportunities! The cycle lane along the seafront continues for 6 miles from Shoreham Harbour to Rottingdean allowing even beginner riders the chance to ride a bike. There are regular farmers markets locally and a fantastic fish shop on seafront.
The property is opposite a gym, (where you can go to classes and book squash courts without being a member) and the greyhound stadium (free on Sunday lunchtimes!) It is only 1 mile from Hove Lagoon where you can rent windsurfs and canoes by the hour. Brighton has the Pavillion, a brand new high design Library and several boules pitches, golf courses, swimming pools, markets and endless country walking options in the South Downs.
You are also near historical Lewes, 10 miles from an award winning zoo park for children (Drussilas), and within 2 minutes walk from a supermarket and bus stop.
How to get there
Hove station is only a ten minute walk through the park, or you could get a taxi from Brighton station. Gatwick is a 30 minute drive away. If arriving by car then the property is 5 minutes drive from the end of the A23 or the A27.
Drive to the end of the A23 and take the A27 to Hove. Come off after one junction, signed Hove and Greyhound stadium. Go down a long hill (George Fifth avenue) and take the second left at the bottom (signed greyhound stadium). Follow this road to some traffic lights, follow the road round to the right, cross a mini roundabaout and immediatly after the roundabout turn left into Orchard Road. the house is number 9 which is the second house on the right.

Further details indoors: Downstairs there is a wonderful kitchen-diner which opens onto the garden and is adjacent to the play room / bedroom 4, which has a sofa bed, a piano and loads of toys! This room is next to the downstairs shower room. When the sun has disappeared you can retreat to the lounge, with its open fire and comfy sofas.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a bathroom. The master bedroom is a sunny, peaceful room with sea views (just!) and an amazing king size bed. Next door are a single room (a cabin bed for a child, under which you could put a second child if you jiggled the beds) and a large triple room.
Further details outdoors: Parking for two cars at the front. Flattish, south-facing lawned garden at the rear is completely enclosed so no chance of losing toddlers or dogs! The garden contains a children's paly house, a trampoline which is dug in to ground level, swings, football goal and hot tub (6 seater)

All bookings must be taken by Sunday 19th July as home owner is leaving the country and will not be able to take any new bookings.
