About the home

This lovely house has recently been refurbished and is an ideal holiday rental for self catering guests. Extra people over and above the six people, which the listed prices are quoted for, are charged at £75 per person per week. There is a choice of bed settees or adult size day beds.

Only a short walk away there is a regular bus service to cover the 1.5 miles to the Brighton City Centre and slightly further takes you to Preston Park Railway Station with trains into Brighton and up to London. There is a lovely fully fitted modern kitchen and from this room doors lead into a very attractive sunny conservatory.

Of the two double beds quoted one is King Size and the other is a standard size. The 6 sofa beds quoted mean a mixture of sofa beds and adult size day beds. The shower room is, in fact, a wet room. There is a separate wc and wash hand basin. There are two reception rooms, one with a TV and one without a TV.

The whole house is very nicely furnished and decorated.

On the lower ground floor there is a separate one bedroom garden flat that sleeps 2/4 people and on the top floor in the loft area a first class conversion has been carried out offering a further bedroom with fantastic views in a self contained unit. If these two units are taken together with Villa Helene, as described, you have accommodation for up to 20 people.

There is a shared garden but if all three properties were taken as described clients would have sole use of the garden.

Three and four day short breaks can be taken out of season and these cost 75% of the weekly rate(3 days) and 85% of the weekly rate(4 days)

Conditions

We are required to hold a £300 damage/cleaning deposit. This will be returned as soon as possible after the house has been inspected by the owners or their agents and in full providing that the property has been left in a clean and tidy state and that there are no breakages or damage.

The South East England / Sussex region

The South East of England is generally considered to be the driest part of the UK and Eastbourne has the enviable record of the highest number of hours of sunshine of any coastal resort in the UK.

All around the area there are places of interest. The main feature of Sussex-by-the-Sea are the South Downs stretching from the Winchester/Petersfield area right across to Eastbourne.

Of course there are, therefore, many charming downland villages to visit within an hour's drive of the town.

The Brighton and Hove / Preston, Brighton area

In Brighton & Hove only 1.5 miles away there is a huge choice of restaurants and entertainments. In May in particular you have the annual festival(the largest in England). There is a regular bus service into the city centre that can be reached about 1/4 mile from Villa Helene.

Villa Helene is about 1/4 mile off the main A23 London to Brighton road and it is set about 1.5 miles from the seafront and Brighton's City Centre. It is also only a short walk to Preston Park Railway station with regular trains to London Victoria. Taxi journey time from London Gatwick would be around 35 minutes.
