The sea is on our doorstep and In this part of southern England there are many castles, gardens and stately homes to visit as well as the beautiful South Downs.
In a matter of minutes you can enjoy the delights of the cosmopolitan City of Brighton & Hove. The ancient County town of Lewes is about a 20 minute drive and the sunny seaside resort of Eastbourne is a 45 minute car ride away. All these places including the very long beach at nearby Seaford and Newhaven(with ferries to France) can be reached by a regular bus services as well as by car.
