The South East England / Sussex region
East Sussex is primordially known for its varied coastline which offers spectacular cliff top walks, including the Seven Sisters Park and Beachy Head.
Inland, however, you have many historic sites and monuments to visit, and your holiday in this area will give you a wonderful mixture of cultural events, spectacular scenery, gardens and landscaping, visits to places steeped in history, as well as relaxation on the beach.
Brighton and Hove / Hove area
Brighton & Hove is now a thriving city, one hour away from London and known by many as "London by the Sea". Here you will find plenty to do: there are theatres, concert halls, restaurants and pubs with themes from all around the world, The Lanes and the North Laines with their wide variety of little boutiques and specialist shops for those looking for something different, whilst Churchill Square shopping centre gathers together all the high street shops under one roof.
There is a thriving cultural life and you will never be short of an art exhibition, a comedy show, a theatre or cinema to entertain you. But if you would like to visit the country, then that is only a fifteen minute drive away, over the South Downs.
Spectacular walks, places to picnic, little villages tucked away in the countryside giving you a taste of a more leisurely pace. So, if you come to Brighton and Hove, you have absolutely everything at your fingertips, including the chance of the most sunshine available in Britain!
