Located in the desirable North Laines, you'll never be stuck for things to do, see, buy and eat. The beach is an easy 10 minute stroll, as is Brighton Station.
You won't spend a fortune on taxis staying here – everything is on your doorstep. But don't worry about this affecting your sleep, you can come back to the tranquillity you'd expect from a modern building fitted with double glazed windows. Experience city living at its best!
North Laines, Brighton has come a long way in the last ten years. It's now the hub of activity and culture and close to all amenities and attractions.
There are plentiful restaurants and bars around; also since the New England Quarter has opened, there are other shops and supermarkets to enjoy just five minutes walk away.
North Laines is especially known for it's independent shops and boutiques. You can buy beautiful one-off crafts and clothes for your wardrobe or your home.
If you like burgers..... check out "Burgers Brothers" across the road from the apartment. Possibly the best burgers in the whole of the UK
It has a real village feel, even though it's part of a city.
North Laine is a bohemian shopping area popular both with locals and tourists, well served with cafés, bars and entertainment venues including theatres such as Komedia, which is in a former Tesco supermarket. The latter had been closed for some years in anticipation of major redevelopment of the area which failed to materialise; in the building was for some time a covered market with a number of small stallholders, until Komedia moved in from their previous home in Kemptown.
The first branch of Anita Roddick's Body Shop, later to become a multinational business, was opened at 22 Kensington Gardens. Typical retailers include art, antiques, architectural salvage, second-hand books, music, "retro" clothing, graphic novels, musical instruments and new age paraphernalia. There is a high turnover of boutique-style shops in North Laine in general.
One of the less shopping-oriented streets, Upper Gardner Street, is closed to traffic every Saturday for an on-street market. Amongst the houses of this street are several antiques dealers.
The City Council redeveloped a gap site, constructing a new library and public square which became available to the public in 2005. This significantly changed the flow of pedestrians, which prior to this had been predominantly straight through North Laine on the main shopping streets, and is now more two-dimensional.
Your Brighton Holiday rules:
Security/breakage deposit: This is paid as a pre authorisation and is taken prior to arriving at the apartment. The cost is £500 and is taken from a debit card the funds will be taken for between 3-10 days, if taken from a credit card the funds are just held on account for between 3-10 days. No guest can stay without paying. Any questions please ask.
Pets are accepted but only after speaking to YBH for approval and subject to an extra cost prior to booking.
Check in is from 3-6pm and check out is 11am. If you require an early check in or late check out the cost is £40 per change. We try and accommodate all guests as much as humanly possible. Prior to arrival we arrange a check in time. If this is exceeded by 30 minutes or we are not called and notified there can be a waiting fee. We try to accommodate all our guests and don't like to disappoint but we hope that all guests respect that we are busy and have other bookings too. Please try not to be late.
Extra guests are charged at £50 each and the guests information that is sent directly from YBH Ltd after the booking has to be completed and returned 2 weeks prior to arrival. All guests booking within two weeks have to return the information 48 hours prior to arrival.
On arrival you will sign the pre authorisation and the noise policy/breakage document. Your deposit will be at risk if any of the rules are broken. If you are a stag or hen do we also have to be notified upon booking. If we find out after the booking is made we reserve the right to cancel the booking and take the monies paid to date including all commissions.
Please ensure that you have holiday travel insurance for when you book, just in case a situation arises.
Lastly thanks you for booking and we welcome you with our meet and greet service. Please call the Property Manager 15 minutes prior to arrival.
