The South East England region

Only a short drive or bus ride into the centre of Brighton. Walking on the undercliff walk all the way to Rottingdean and Saltdean.

A trip into town on the famous Volk's railway is well worth considering.

In the Marina itself there are many restaurants and pubs to choose from.

Brighton and Hove

Only about 7 miles away to the North East you will arrive at the charming historical County Town of Lewes with its castle and many little lanes and 'twittens'.

To the West in one hour you can reach Chichester... the County Town of West Sussex and also the lovely old town of Arundel with its 900 year old castle.

To the East you soon reach the quaint Olde Worlde Village of Rottingdean and then further on you come to Seaford and Newhaven with a regular ferry service to Dieppe in France.

About an hour's car drive(or you can go by bus) you come to the Victorian resort town of Eastbourne. Very popular. The Bandstand offers live music every evening throughout the Summer and on Wednesday evenings you always have the Classical night ending with the 1812 Fireworks Concert!
