CULTURE

Right in the heart of the Regency Conservation area, your accommodation is surrounded by many places of interest as well as stunning architecture. The accommodation faces Embassy Court, a stunning example of 1920s architecture, and is very close to Brunswick Terrace and Brunswick Square, Adelaide Crescent, and Regency Square.

The Bedford Tavern is just 50yards from your door, and is widely reputed to be Brighton's most haunted pub!

The Old Market is a stone's throw away, while the New Venture Theatre lies in the parallel street. Both popular cultural venues for concerts and plays.

There are also a number of art galleries within easy reach. During the Brighton Festival, you are invited to walk freely into folks' homes, ("Open Houses") and enjoy contemporary art in a most relaxed atmosphere. There are many in this area, in Western Street too. Walk further into Brighton to the Brighton Dome, the Brighton Centre, the Pavilion, the Palace Pier, and many many more attractions

Brighton and Hove

OUT AND ABOUT

Situated right on the border of Brighton and Hove, your apartment offers you the best of our magnificent city! The seafront is just 25 metres away.

Just across the seafront road, the popular "Meeting Place" cafe is situated to the far left of the picture. Perfect for a lazy breakfast, or coffee anytime.

The public petanque pitch (foreground)is also directly across the road, next to the Peace Statue (upper right). Just along the seafront, there are public ping-pong tables (table tennis). The Hove Lawns (behind Peace Statue in photo), roll luxuriantly in front of the magnificent Regency architecture. Petanque and ping-pong equipment are provided for your enjoyment.

The Hove seafront is a perfect place to fill your lungs with fresh sea air, popular with joggers and roller bladers, as well as walkers of all ages. The National Cycle Network has a cycle path that runs past the property from the Hove Lagoon to Brighton Marina

"Excellent accommodation in a great location"

A really well presented accommodation in an excellent location, a hundred yards from the seafront and 10 minutes walk to the centre of town. Amenities nearby include two good pubs and food shops within a few hundred metres. Everything is included that you might need, including wif-fi, plasma tv etc. Good outside space too and really helpful owner. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

"Excellent location"

Fantastic location, very close to the front yet quiet too.
Excellent, reliable broadband connection, which was something I required as I was working a lot through the daytime.
This is a basement apartment, so don't expect a view.
Smoking is allowed at the apartment, so do be aware if you are a non smoker.
As I say a really brilliant location and Doug was so easy to deal with!

"Cosy, but noisy!"

Flat was nice, modern, and cosy. Walls and ceiling paper thin, as we could heart he neighbours walking up and down the steps, and a lot of walking and moving of furniture - no outside noise though. Plumbing needs re-doing as the toilet needed flushing several times, and bath tap constantly leaked - wasing water.
Wi Fi signal very weak.
Convenient -2 mins to Brighton beach, and two pubs and bottleshop, and five mins to main street shops and bus stops
Owner let us stay for extra few days due to a cancellation at a very reasonable rate.
Not too sure what will happen in the future as owner is in the proceeds of selling place.

Unfortunately during this period, new tenants were moving in upstairs, so I understand there was some noise issues because of this. There was no WiFi installed in the apartment, but that is now being addressed, and high-speed connection will be available from early May 2013. Of course, we are also addressing the plumbing issues - as well as installing new taps and fittings. The apartment is no longer on the market, as we have taken the decision to retain it as a holiday apartment for the forseeable future. Doug Roberts (owner)
