BookThe South East England / Sussex region
Less than an hour from London, Sussex has the largest number of county lanes anywhere in the UK and offers spectacular beaches, rolling hills and picturesque villages.
From Beachy Head in the East to Harting Down in the West, The Sussex Downs has some of the most beautiful and varied landscape in the UK, and recently graded as a ‘National Park’ in respect of its beauty and diversity. Enjoy the superb walks, photo opportunities, afternoon cream teas or if you enjoy a more active break, try sailing, mountain biking, hang-gliding or orbing!
The Brighton and Hove / Brighton Marina area
Brighton Marina has all the facilities and amenities you'd expect from one of Europe's biggest marinas. It is flanked on one site by Brighton's famous pebble beaches (including the UK's first nudist beach!) and the other by the white cliffs of the Sussex Heritage Coastline.
Brighton and Hove - voted one of the friendliest cities in the UK - is probably the most vibrant cities in the UK also, if not Europe, oozing creativity and kudos from every pore. Often described as the ‘San Francisco of the UK’, because of it’s laid back bohemian culture, it offers a hotbed of entertainment, from the beating heart of the cultural quarter to its unique 'village' areas, with a staggering choice of drama, opera, music, dance, literature, street theatre and outdoor spectacles... and of course, more shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes than you can shake a stick at!
Beyond Brighton is the South Downs National park, again with a dixxying array of activities, and miles and miles of traditional English villages and countryside walks.

What a fantastic place to stay! So well designed and thought out - often you stay in places that look good but are not practical. This is! It's bijou but perfectly formed. As Brightonians who have moved north but come 'home' to catch up with friends this is the first time we have ever stayed on the Marina - usually choosing Travelodge at Preston Park that does the best deals. This was much better value with independence for breakfast, dinner and a nice big comfy sofa to relax on. Bed was fab as well and the location was incredibly, comparatively quiet - the noisy seagulls go inland. Loved it. |
