This is a second floor flat in a 1970's building(no lift) located right on the seafront - high standard throughout - in the charming and ancient village of Rottingdean. The panoramic views of the sea and beaches are stunning both East and West.

There are two bedrooms - a large double bedded room with cupboards and a picture window giving you the views as described - and a smaller single bedroom with a slide under/pull out bed for a third/fourth person. Fully tiled bathroom with bath(shower over) and basin. Separate wc. Modern kitchen with electric hob/oven(no microwave), fridge, dishwasher, washing machine. Spacious sitting/dining room with settee and two chairs, coffee table, flat screen SKY TV/DVD, dining table and four chairs.

Picture windows offering you stunning and panoramic sea and beach views. Door to balcony with chairs giving you the amazing same views.

Bus stops are within easy reach. Regular buses run in both an Easterly and Westerly direction. Cafes, restaurants and pubs are all within easy reach within the village as are two local supermarkets.

Sea swimming is safe on the beaches just outside the flat at high-mid tide but at low tide it is mainly rocks(ideal for children with nets).

For bookings of two weeks or more there will be a linen and towel change. A £200 returnable damage/cleaning deposit is required.

An extra £50 per week applies for a fourth person using the flat.

The South East England region

The South East of England has much to offer with gardens, castles and stately homes and all these are within an hour's drive. The wonderful South Downs is close at hand with the many little downland villages to visit.

Brighton and Hove

In the ancient village of Rottingdean itself there are shops, a Post Office, pubs, restaurants and cafes as well as two local supermarkets plus an ancient church, village pond and windmill. The cosmopolitan city of Brighton is a short bus ride away to the West and to the East you soon reach the port of Newhaven(with ferries to France) as well as the seaside town of Seaford with its long pebble beach. Slightly further away to the East you have the lovely Victorian seaside resort town of Eastbourne. In the Summer every evening on the Bandstand you can listen to live music - Wednesdays is classical music night complete with fireworks.

To the North of Brighton - just 7 miles away - you reach the ancient town of Lewes - the County town of East Sussex. Here you will find many varied interesting shops and pubs with fascinating stories to tell. Also little 'twittens', old buildings of interest and a castle.
