This is a FOUR Star three bedroom bungalow in a lovely rural setting on the edge of the village of Rottingdean - an ancient and historic seaside village with its many varied shops, pubs, restaurants. an old church and village pond and, of course, the famous windmill. The bungalow will sleep 6 comfortably. There is a very nice rear garden and patio. One fully fitted bathroom plus a second separate wc. Fitted kitchen, dining area in sitting room. Wheelchair access to the side of the property. There are three bedrooms - a master bedroom with double bed and two twin bedrooms(one of these has an en-suite shower cubicle and vanity basin).

Barbecue available - downland walks - lovely peaceful views.

The South East England region

There are many lovely places to visit in the area - The South Downs is right on your doorstep with a lot of downland villages nearby. The ancient and historic County town of Lewes is worth a visit and is only a 30 minute drive away. Further afield you have Arundel with its 900 year old castle and Chichester the County City for West Sussex. In an Easterly direction the seaside towns of Newhaven(with ferries to France) and Seaford are worth visiting. Slightly further East you have the Victorian seaide resort of Eastbourne.

This town holds the record for the highest number of hours of sunshine in the UK. There are theatres and restaurants and a lovely old Victorian Bandstand with live music every evening during the Summer months(Wednesdays are the evenings set aside for classical music always ending up with the 1812 overture complete with fireworks.

Brighton and Hove

Rottingdean itself is a lovely old village with its array of shops, restaurants, church, pond and windmill. Also there is a nice beach - swimming possible between half tide and high tide. Nearby is the charming downland village of Ovingdean - a short walk over Beacon Hill. Brighton is only a bus ride away and, of course, here there is much to offer all tastes.
