Barn | 5 bedrooms | sleeps 14
When we say that Serafina can accommodate up to 10 adults (or 12 with The Lodge) and up to 4 children, it's not at a squeeze. With 5 bedrooms, 2 of which are masters with en-suites and 1 large family bathroom, expansive communal rooms and an 3/4 acre of grounds, even at capacity, it's still a luxurious and relaxing stay.
The ground floor accommodates the open plan living and dining areas creating a perfect balance of privacy and togetherness. The dining area can seat up to 14 guests making it ideal for celebratory dinners for family and friends.
The expansive living room boasts relaxed seating and a 50” flat screen TV making it the perfect room for more relaxed entertaining, especially with its wood-burning stove in the winter. Additionally, the family room is ideal for playing board games, the piano or relaxing with a good book.
Adjacent to the dining area is the playroom where you can keep an eye on the younger ones whilst enjoying the company of others. This also features a flat screen TV, DVD player and PlayStation 2 with a selection of games for the children and the older guests too!
While the first thing you notice is the kitchen's impressive size and quality with top of the range fittings and oak and granite work surfaces throughout , it is fully equipped with the essentials of a range cooker, dishwasher, fridge and microwave whilst complimented with extras like a bread-maker and fruit juicer.
In the laundry room, you will find a washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and an additional fridge, ideal if you are staying for more than a long weekend.

About this location
The Herefordshire region
The border county of Herefordshire is steeped in history and legend. You will find castles and houses, gardens and farms which have changed very little over the centuries. You will find a decidedly slower pace of life here - the ideal start to a relaxing rural escape!
Serafina provides an excellent base for exploring the unspoilt Herefordshire landscape. Occupying a quiet, yet accessible rural location just 5mins away is the Queenswood Country Park and the beautiful Hampton Court Castle and Gardens.
Hops are still grown locally - check out the beer from the Wye Valley Brewery! The barn lies close to the Mortimer Trail and Offa's Dyke Path, three National Trust properties and numerous award-winning pubs (one with Michelin stars).
The market town of Leominster is only 2 miles away and the cathedral city of Hereford, home of the Mappa Mundi is 12 miles distant.
Ludlow and its castle are perched on a cliff above the picturesque River Teme in south Shropshire 13 miles away, the town breathes history at every turn. It is renowned for it's food and drink and there are no fewer than seven restaurants in or near Ludlow with entries in the current Michelin guide to hotels and restaurants in Britain
Beyond, Wales beckons. The Brecon Beacons and the Elan Valley are all within striking distance and well worth a visit.
