This is a delightful apartment that sleeps 4. It is ideally suited to a couple for a romantic getaway, having restaurants, bars and the lake nearby. The large balcony which is ideal for alfresco dining and looking out across the lake view whilst sipping on a glass of wine. The large terrace has a stone table for outdoor BBQ or just relaxing.
The apartment is on the main road from Como to Argegno, there is a bus stop directly below the apartment and parking on the other side of the road.

The Lombardy / Lake Como Area
Lake Como is surrounded by striking mountains, lying between Lugano and the Alps 50 km from Milan. Como centre with its fantastic shopping, restaurants and lakeside walks only 15min away. Bellagio by boat or car is not to be missed. Como (silk industry, and historical town, lively market 3 times a week), surrounding mountains (for hiking, mountain biking or a leisurely car drive up to panoramic view points), boat trips on the lake (crisscrossing from one village to the other), beautiful villas with parks open to the public (Carlotta in Tremezzo for its azaleas), (Balbianello in Lenno), (Melzi in Bellagio), Menaggio, Bellagio and Varenna all worth a visit. For lovers of history, food, wine, fashion, beauty, music, sightseeing, walking, cycling, sailing, motor racing, theatre, opera, skiing, cafe culture, football this area has something for everyone!
Menaggio has outdoor swimming pool complex, lovely 'piazza' for outdoor dining. Cernobbio with various boutiques, bars and restaurants. Brienno area
Apartment is located above the main Como to Argegno road; it’s within mins of the lake village of Brienno. There you will find local amenities but 5 mins the other way is the village of Argegno.
Argegno is well served with regular ferries and buses which access all main routes of the lake (5 min walk to village) and has everything you need at your disposal. Argegno has access to water sports activities, boating and great restaurants The village also boasts a bakery, mini market and fish shop, as well as amenities such as chemist, post office, wine bars and weekly open air food market. Shingle beach for sunbathing or skiing in near- by Val D'Intelvi in winter.
In the summer months Argegno and nearby villages of Ossuccio, Lenno, Mezzegra and Tremezzo host many events, from open air concerts to local dining evening and fireworks festivals.
How to get there
Como is easily reaches by Milan's three main airports, Malpensa, Linate and Bergamo. Several flights each day from UK and Ireland by Aer Lingus, Ryan Air, Easy Jet, British Airways.
All major car hire companies are located at the airports and also in Como centre.
Trains from central Milan, Switzerland arrive at either of Como's two train stations.
Public bus service is regular to all areas on the lake. The lake side villages are also served by public ferry from Como to Menaggio and Bellagio, and all towns in between.

Further details indoors: The apartment has been recently renovated and updated. It is on the top floor and there are steep steps up to the apartment making it not really suitable for very small children.
It has a bright and clean interior. Beautiful kitchen with everything you would need to enjoy a holiday here. Large double bedroom, living room with sofa bed, they all have access to the large balcony and stunning lake views. The bathroom is completely new with lots of storage and a good shower. Spacious laundry room and cellar.
Further details outdoors: Located on the main lake road from Como to Argegno, this apartment is on an elevated location, with steps up to the property. This allows for the stunning views from every room and the balcony runs along the entire front aspect of the apartment. It also benefits from a well equipped terrace for bbq's or just relaxing and watching life go by on the lake.

Advance payment of 30% of the total due, if booking is made 60 days or more prior to the start of the rental. The total balance is due no later than 60 days before the start of the rental.
If the reservation is made less than 60 days from the date of arrival, the entire amount is due immediately Payment is to be made by bank transfer.
200 euro damage/security refundable bond paid locally to agent in cash on arrival refunded on departure.
Final cleaning charge 40 Euros for paid locally on arrival.
