There is direct access to swim in the lake. At the side of the property, you can also enjoy the sight and sound of a small naturally formed waterfall cascading into the lake.
The Lombardy / Lake Como Area region
Lake Como offers hidden treasures just waiting for the visitor to discover them: charming corners forgotten by time, lakeside villages where nothing seems to have changed for centuries. It is steeped in history with an immense collection of churches, architectural masterpieces and works of art covering the centuries. The lake is situated in a basin surrounded by wooded mountains, and offers an extremely varied landscape, with its' shores featuring a succession of pastures, and woods as well as harsh and impressive rock formations. All this alongside elegant, lakeside villas with sub-tropical gardens, which provide a haven of peace and tranquillity and chic resorts such as Bellagio, Menaggio and Como itself.
The Brienno area
The property is situated just 15 minutes from the beautiful town centre of Como, the lake’s unofficial capital. The very centre of the town was once part of the Roman Empire in AD 172 and is still enclosed by a fortified wall. The historic parts of the town hold many precious architectural jewels, including the 14th century Gothic-Renaissance cathedral that took over 350 years to build, the Broletto and other fascinating medieval buildings. Shoppers will love Como as it is an important centre for silk manufacturing both in design and print of the fabrics. Other local specialalities are exclusive Italian fashion lines, leather goods, artwork, and other fine crafts.

Service Charge
Our one & two weekly service charges are inclusive of final cleaning, bed linen, towels, heating, utilities & air-conditioning (if installed in the holiday property). Tea towels & beach towels are not supplied. If your booking is for more than one week, clean linen & towels will be provided on a weekly basis. (Please check Service Charge costs at time of enquiry)

3 night break - 40% off weekly tariff / 4 night break - 30% off weekly tariff / 5 night break - 20% off weekly tariff / 6 night break - 10% off weekly tariff
Additional Extras
We offer a range of extra facilities, which are available for hire through our office 'Happy Holiday Homes' in Menaggio: Cot Hire - EU 20 per week, High Chair - EU 15 per week, Push Chair - EU 25 per week, Camp Bed – EU 85 per week, Wi-Fi or USB Internet Stick - EU 35 per week (includes EU 10 consumable credit). Please note that signal and connectivity is not guaranteed and may depend on the strength of the signal in your rental property.
Making a Booking
To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our online booking form and pay a 30% deposit by wire transfer or credit card. The remaining holiday balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.
