Affectionately known as 'the little house', Warren Cottage is full of character and was part of a converted bakery which has been lovingly renovated with free wifi, new furnishings and a modern Italian spiral staircase. Many of the traditional features have been retained such as the old bread oven in the inglenook and the original beamed ceiling, and it is supplied with good quality modern luxuries; microwave, washing machine, television with DVD, fridge with freezer compartment, electric shower. The cottage enjoys a south facing aspect for sunshine most of the day into the kitchen which also has a vaulted ceiling. Secure, dry storage is available in the lean-to for bikes and hiking gear for those who wish to enjoy an active holiday from the cottage.
It is located on a country lane 1.5 miles out of Ross-on-Wye and within easy distance of the local towns - the rural minibus passes the door on it's scenic route to Hereford! It is an ideal base for enjoying any type of holiday in the Wye Valley, which offers something for everyone; cycling and walking in the Forest of Dean, canoeing down the River Wye, hiking in the Brecon Beacons, visiting the many small market towns in the area, visitng Hereford Cathedral, local museums, or the many castles around us. The Herefordshire region
Perfect for a holiday at any time of year, the Wye Valley runs through the counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Monmouthshire and is one of the UK's Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The area is very popular with visitors, with its pleasant climate, breathtaking scenery and famous landmarks.
The Herefordshire lifestyle is centred around arable and livestock farming, as well as extensive woodland cultivation, forestry and orchards. The county town of Hereford with its magnificent Cathedral and medieval bridge across the River Wye, is steeped in history whilst providing many modern facilities.
The Three Choirs Festival is hosted in 2012 and is Europe’s oldest Music Festival. Hereford has many museums, including Hereford Museum is in the city centre, the Cider Museum unfolding the story of traditional cider making in the area and the Waterworks Museum outside the city.
Visit the renowned Symonds Yat Rock and admire the dramatic views of the gorge and out across Herefordshire towards the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons of mid-Wales.

There are activities and interests to suit many and varied tastes including walking, climbing, canoeing, fishing, golf, and sight-seeing.
