Lynsford cottage is a modern semi detached house and one of only two in a nice road towards the outskirts of Bridport set in an area of Victorian town houses and cottages. There is a field a short distance away with the River Brit running through it. The accommodation offers a reception hall, sitting and dining room, kitchen and a conservatory. Upstairs there is a twin and a double bedroom as well as a bathroom. The cottage has gas fired central heating and has just been re furbished which has included a new conservatory, new kitchen and re decorartion and new carpets through out.

The Dorset region

The West Country is a very popular destination for tourists and vistitors alike. With miles of unspoilt coastline and protected countryside there is something for everyone to enjoy and you are never far from the sea. Access is good to the region with a mainline railway staion at Dorchester and Weymouth, good bus service including the x 53 Jurassic Coast service which runs every hour in each direction.


Bridport is a vibrant market town with plenty going on. A bi weekly street market sells everthing from antiques and bric a brac to fresh fruit and flowers. There is also a monthly farmers market were you can buy food directly from the producers of it and know what you are buying !. There is also a Cinema, The Arts Centre and numerous cafes and pubs where you can relax and watch the world go by. The sea is only 2 miles away with a big sandy beach at Burton Bradstock were you can escape the crowds.
