This cottage is much better in real life than in the pictures. Having rented 2 cottages in the same village my families cottages faired much better in the pictures but our stay ended up being of a much higher standard. The only thing letting the cottage down was the water pressure in the shower. It's very large and looks amazing but if you have long hair it does take a while to wash, though don't let this put you off.
Having dogs it was very refreshing to have a modern clean and fully equiped cottage available for our stay. Definately want to visit again. So much to do we couldn't fit it all in in a week.
One thing to note though is if you have a low car you would be better off parking on the main road. The lane is very steep and our cars did scrape the ground on the way out.

“A wonderful cottage in a great location”
The cottage was very well presented and offered all the home comforts that you need when having a holiday. The welcome basket including Easter chocolates, a bottle of red wine and fresh eggs for our breakfast was an added bonus! The area was outstanding, very close to the beach and places to eat.

“Comfortable and spacious character cottage in Dorset”
We travelled to Dorset with the idea of exploring the Jurassic coastline some more than we had done previously. The cottage location was well placed for that. You do need to have a car, although local supermarkets and Bridport town centre are only a short drive away. We travelled with a toddler who found the cottage very comfortable and loved sitting and watching the birds in the front garden from the window. The cottage had all the facilities you would expect in the kitchen and lots of pots and pans, so we managed to cook lots of lovely dinners at home. The beds were very comfortable and the four poster bed was one the best beds I have slept in. The speakers hooked up to the ipod in the lounge/dining rooms was a nice feature; we listened to some tunes we hadn't heard in a long time ! Daisy cottage had been modernised, with tasteful decor and furniture but was old and had character and very thick walls! The quiet residential area setting of the cottage was lovely, and all you could hear was the birds chirping. The wood burning stove in the lounge added to the cosy feeling, especially as it was chilly outside. We used Daisy cottage to explore the coastline with daytrips from Beer in Devon to Weymouth in Dorset, and all the places in between.
We have just returned from a fabulous week at Daisy Cottage. This cottage certainly has the WOW factor! Not only did we have fantastic weather, the cottage was a dream! We couldn't have asked for more, the beds were really comfortable and all of the facilities were first class. The welcome goodies were really appreciated. I would definitely would recommend this cottage to anyone,

“Absolutely Fantastic!”
What a welcoming cottage with all the quaint thiings you would expect, with a modern twist. The pictures do not do it justice as the cottage is REALLY much more spacious. It is a great location and was a 'perfect' place to stay for Xmas. Highly recommended and will be returning.
“Excellent Cottage in a lovely part of the countryside.”

“Great cottage in a lovely place”
Daisy Cottage is a stylish and comfortable place to spend a holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our Autumn break here and would be happy to return in future. There is a lot to see and do nearby and it was lovely to come home to the log burning stove in the evening. It really is one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in.

“relaxing well equiped cottage”
The owners were very organised when we booked the holiday and the process was very quick and easy. Basic essentials were supplied which was good and gets you started before you can get out to shop for groceries. We visit the Bridport area on a regular basis and it is a good base to explore the many attractions of West Dorset and the Jurassic coast, the location of this cottage is in a particularly convenient location. The Cottage is well equiped and comfortable, it cannot really be faulted for the price the owners charged.
Daisy Cottage is a wonderful place to base yourself for a stay in West Dorset. It has everything you will need to make you feel at home. The whole house is tastefully and comfortably furnished and all the rooms are a good size. Particular highlights are the large kitchen diner and the sumptuous four-poster bed. The pictures advertising the property do not do it justice. The rooms are actually larger than they look on the website.
We stayed with our 16-month-old son and had everthing we needed. A proper cot (not travel cot) was provided, as was a good high chair and the stairs were fitted with a gate at the top and a door at the bottom.
There is a small enclosed courtyard to the rear which is a real suntrap mid afternoon.
The village of Bradpole is a short walk from Bridport - little more than a mile - which has an abundance of little private shops and places to eat. There are also a couple of supermarkets just around the corner from the house. A mile the other side of Bridport there is the beach at West Bay with its stunning cliffs and views.
There are many places of interest within a few miles of the village.

“Quality and Style. A superb cottage, delightful location, helpful owners.”
Superb interior with both style and quality. Perfectly placed for Bridport, Beaminster and the coast at Burton Bradstock. We attended a wedding at Mapperton House so ideal for this. The kitchen/dining area is of superior quality and a lovely size for family. Quiet lane, the owners were extremely helpful with arrangements. The wine, fruit and chocolates left to greet us were the cherry on the cake! Thank you! Coombs family.

“A lovely, comfortable cottage”
Despite the atrocious weather in July, we had a lovely time in this very nicely furnished cottage. The beds were very comfy indeed, lovely to see a proper cot for my baby boy & a very comfortable extra bed for my 3 year old daughter. All the rooms are furnished to a high standard, are all really good sizes, even the 2nd bedroom & the kitchen is well equipped with a good sized dining table. We very much appreciated the welcome to the cottage with flowers, chocs, wine, eggs & fruit basket - lovely extra touches that make all the difference. My three year old daughter loved the window seats in the bedrooms & spent many moments staring out at the church in the distance which was a very nice view & even nicer with the sound of the church bells ringing on a Sunday morning. Owner made excellent communication prior to stay & gave superb directions to the cottage. All in all, a very nice stay and would recommend the cottage to couples or a family with children.
Daisy Cottage was everything we wanted & more. I travelled with my husband & 2 yr old daughter. The cottage was a great size & was decorated & furnished to an extremly high standard. On arrival we were greeted by a bottle of fizz, fresh flowers & chocolate. A full variety of fresh fruit in the fruit bowl, fresh eggs & anough milk to make several cups of well needed tea. These personal touches made our stay extra special. Bradpole itself is a great base to explore Bridport, West Bay, Lyme Regis, Burton Bradstock, Charmouth & Axminster....& lots more places besides.

“Lovely country cottage in idylic location with everything you could ever need”
We stayed at Daisy cottage for 2 nights to attend a wedding in the local village of Loders. The cottage was in a perfect location for us at the end of the village. It was a home from home, decorated and refurbished to a very high standard by the owners, where clearly a lot of thought and attention to detail has gone into it - the bed was amazingly comfortable!! There is a lovely kitchen/dining area for cooking and eating, and a garden for sitting outside with a glass of wine. You can walk into the village in about 15 minutes to the local pub and its easy to visit Bridport and surrounding areas. Loved it, thank you.

“Perfect place to escape to.”
Really loved the cottage, furnished to a very high quality with attention to detail, very clean and the owner had thought of everything. When we arrived there was a bowl of fruit, coffee, milk, firewood, towels and a massive Easter egg so we didn't need to bring anything extra. Loved the fire in the lounge, kitchen design and the music system was wired into the lounge and kitchen. Also had wifi which was useful for surfing to bus service details and restaurant reviews. We don't normally return to the same place but would come back again, we left feeling pampered and relaxed. Also in a great location with loads of great walking a short drive away.
Response: Thank you very much for the lovely review, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again in the near future.

“Great weekend”
Lovely cottage, well equipped with great attention to detail. The flowers, chocolates and wine on arrival a lovely touch.
Also, due to family bereavement we had to re schedule the dates of the holiday, the owner was more than helpful in doing this for us.
“Thoughtfully and tastefully appointed cottage providing all those unexpected extras.”
A traditional cottage in a quiet setting close to many wonderful coastal and woodland walks. Its cosy wood burning stove was a real treat for us to enjoy during the cold evenings ( plenty of alternative heating though). Beautifully clean with high spec of furnishings. We felt spoilt with all those extras provided by the thoughtful owners. We leave rested! Thank you so much.

“Great place to stay, in a beautiful area - highly recommend”
This is a first class holiday cottage. Newly refurbished, everything high spec, stylish and tasteful, this is a great place to stay for couples and families alike. Travelling with a small baby (10 months) we appreciated the thoughtfulness with which the cottage had been "child proofed" with various safety features - although this has been done in such an unobtrusive way we would have been very happy to stay here in our pre-baby days too. The thoughtfulness extended beyond our stay - we forgot to take our baby food home and left it in the cupboard, but it was kindly posted back to us in London. A beautiful, stylish and peaceful place to stay - we couldn't have asked for more. (PS after experiencing the really comfortable beds we were inspired to decide when we got home that we really should upgrade our duvet!)
“Beautiful cottage, well equipped in a great position”
Comfortable cottage finished with good attention to detail. Perfect for a family of four with small children. Felt very homely. Was sorry to leave!

“Daisy cottage is a very well equipped, comfortable and welcoming place to spend your holiday”
Daisy Cottage was the best holiday cottage we have stayed in. The cottage had everything we could have wanted during our stay. The kitchen was well equipped, the lounge was nicely layed out with a homely feel and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The provision of a stair gate for our 18month old was very useful and saved us taking one with us. The positioning of the cottage was perfect for us, it was in a quiet location, but all amenities were close by. It provided a great base for us to visit the many attractions on offer in this part of Dorset.

A lovely, comfortable cottage, nicely decorated, clean and modern. Everything you could want is provided, lots of attention to detail which all makes it feel like home from home. A lovely location in Bridport, interesting market town with lots to see in the area.
We loved staying at daisy cottage. From the gorgeous four poster to the well equipped kitchen, it had everything you needed to make for a relaxing stay. Location wise, it is perfect for exploring all that Dorset has to offer.

“Tastefully decorated, welcoming, great attention to detail and lovely to deal with”
This property was newly renovated and was a lovely place to stay for a week with our family. It's very child-friendly with all the bits and bobs that you need (Highchair, stair gates, fire guard) and it's a very comfortable and homely cottage, ideally located for Bridport and the fantastic Jurassic Coast. The decor, furniture and fittings are practical and stylish and the kitchen and dining area are very well equipped and have everything you need from a holiday rental. We instantly felt at home here and the children loved it and didn't want to leave. The owners are very pleasant to deal with and truly seemed to care that our stay was a pleasant one. I can't recommend this cottage enough.
