House | 4 bedrooms | sleeps 10
Lark Rise is a stunning modern detatched house sitting high up on the Quantock Hills with panoramic views across beautiful countryside to the Bristol Channel and Wales beyond. Even the loo has a view!! On a clear night you can see the lights of the Millennium Stadium, if you can drag your eyes away from the wonderful night sky, unspoilt by light pollution!! This is a fantastic house for parties, with its open plan living spaces, games room and enormous deck, but is also an ideal choice for nature lovers, birdwatchers, walkers and mountain bikers, with numerous walking/cycling routes from the door and wildlife aplenty including deer, Quantock ponies, badgers, owls and red kites to name a few. On your return to the house there is nothing more relaxing than to soothe your aching muscles in the traditional Japanese cedar bath. The garden is also partly Japanese in design and tranquility reigns here, from the cherry blossom, azaleas and bamboo grove to the Summerhouse where you can while away the hours with a good book or just contemplating the view whilst listening to the sound of running water.
