Hermitage Studio and Billingsley Apartment are both located within the Town House - right in the heart of the Bridgnorth High Town Conservation Area, close to the top Cliff Railway Station, but on a quiet traffic-free paved cul-de-sac. The property has just been comprehensively re-developed, and was only completed Easter 2012, so everything is brand new. Both apartments are suitable for single travellers or couples, and we offer short breaks all year round. The apartments are equal in desirability, but very different in decor and style. Hermitage is a modern studio layout with wetroom (no bath) whereas Billingsley is a traditional one bedroom apartment with en-suite bathroom (no shower).

The Town House is located on Bank Street, which is a narrow paved cul-de-sac. There is no parking provided, but on arrival there is no problem for you to drive right up to the property and stop immediately next to it whilst you collect the key and unload your luggage. There is lots of parking available close by (within 200 metres) in on-street parking bays and car parks. Parking is free overnight, and charges for parking during the day are not excessive. You do not need a car to enjoy a holiday here, there are lots of attractions, places to see and things to do in this lovely historic market town.
There are no put-me-up beds for additional guests or children, so the studio is suitable for a maximum of two guests. If you bring your own cot, you could bring your babe-in-arms, but please note that the studio is not safe or suitable for a toddler.
You can check availability and make instant online reservations on our website.
The Shropshire region
Shropshire, maybe one of England's quiet counties but don't be deceived; there's still plenty to see and do. Shropshire has over 90 places to visit - historic houses and castles with beautiful gardens, the famous Ironbridge, museums and family attractions.
Shropshire has many traditional market towns including historic Bridgnorth, gourmet Ludlow and the county town of Shrewsbury. Shrewsbury almost surrounded by the River Severn and birthplace of Charles Darwin, is a medieval delight of black and white buildings.
Unspoilt, unrushed and tranquil.
The Shropshire landscape reflects the fact that Shropshire is geologically unique and creates the special habitats that ensures that Shropshire wildlife is so diverse. All this adds up to making Shropshire great walking country.
So whether you're out and about on Shropshire Hills, by the Meres and Mosses or strolling along with the Shropshire Union and Llangollen Canals you can guarantee the Shropshire air will rejuvenate and restore you.
Bridgnorth is a lively and fascinating historic market town, with lots of interesting places to explore on foot, the Severn Valley Steam Railway, the Cliff Railway, the river and plenty of different places to eat out or buy food.
The town sits high on a sandstone cliff with spectacular views of the Severn Valley. There are caves, a castle, a cliff railway, a civil war and catastrophes that all had a bearing on the town you see today. The famous Severn Valley Railway operates vintage steam trains on a beautiful sixteen mile stretch of riverside line.
There are shops, markets and events galore, and lovely side streets to explore with fine houses and cottages, the remains of a Friary, eight sets of steps to get up and down the town, a bridge, old residential caves and much more.
