Situated in oneof the sunniest parts of France, situated on the Duex Sevres/Vendee/Loire border L'Espoir with south facing pool and gardens offers you uninterupted views over the French countryside within a stoll away from our village of Boisme and its bakery shop and cafe. A short ten minute drive is the town of Bressuire where you will find many restaurants, speciality shops, large hyper marches and pavement cafes 'to watch the world go by' in. L'Espoir is very well equipped for all your comfort and enjoyment.
There is four bedrooms accomodating eight + up to 3 babies, with many original features include charentaise fireplace, with log burning fires in the kitchen and lounge, with original floorings. The 1st dining area on the terrase overlooks the pool and is covered to provide shade ; ideal for 'Al fresco living, when you dine or relax watching the sun go down with a glass of wine; bought from the producers nearby.

The Poitou-Charentes / Vendee / Deux Sevres region
This area is on the Gulf Stream and has high temperatures in summer second only to the Mediterranean. As the house is on the edge of the Deux Sevre, Vendee and Loire areas, where you will be close to vineyards where you can sample various local wines from the producers and the Vendee coast with glorious golden sandy beaches. For the active guests there is canoeing, sailing, swimming, horse riding and karting close by.
Bressuire / Boisme area
Those who wish to be out and about there are footpaths and bridleways to explore around the area. The town of Bressuire has a beautiful Chateau, toy museum and a festival celebrating the local region and local crafts.There is a wide selection of unique shops, restaurants,cafes and bars to sit and watch the world go by. Nearby is the International Fishing centre of Pescalis.

Further details indoors: There are four bedrooms, 1 family bathroom with bath/overhead shower/bidet +1 shower room spread over two floors. Suitable for two families as we provide sleeping and eating for 8 + 2 babies. Ground floor has two large double bedded rooms and shower room. 1st Floor has two twin bedded rooms and a large family bathroom, fitted to a high standard. The kitchen and the two reception rooms have ceiling fans for comfort and all bedrooms have bedside tables with reading lights and an electric fan, essential during the hot months. We offer you the use, at extra cost, fitted Air Condition Units for the upstair bedrooms, which will keep you cool; especially in the hot summer months. There is a large selection of games,dvd's,video's, cd/radio and book for adults and children alike to enjoy + full UK Sty TV package to view. New for 2008 i-pod docking station.
Further details outdoors: The 3/4 acre garden is fully secure and has many fruit trees, pear,peach,olive etc, a large lawned area for ball games with a boule court at the end of the lawn(1 set of boules supplied). The pool area (adjacent to the kitchen door) is tiled all around with a dining table suitable for eight and 2nd seating area with stone table at the bottom of the garden.
In the evening the pool (which conforms to the new French Pool Regulations) and surrounding terrase can be illuminated for evening swimming and entertainment. "Margo" our fountain is also illuminated.

The swimming pool is open May until September. Directions, key instructions etc. will be sent out at the time final balance is paid. An additional single Z-bed (suitable for a child) can be supplied FOC if required. Logs supplied at cost. May - September rates; do not include central-heating.
Conditions
Pets are allowed by prior arrangement with the owners only. If baby comes too, we supply the necessary items free of charge - 3 x travel cot, 3 x high chair,changing mat, potty and blender and much more for the under 5's We prefer Saturday changeovers, but depending on the time of year, some flexibility may be possible, please contact us to discuss your personnal needs.
