It is filled with lazy winding rivers and is a region truly dedicated to relaxing,

Beautiful Countryside in all directions and traffic free roads to go and explore.

Deux-Sevres is bordered by Charente Maitime with its beautiful beaches - La Rochelle, Royan and the Ile d'Oleron and the Vendee with Sables d'Olonnes and many other seaside resorts dotted along the coastline

The Marais Poitevin (Little Venice) is a short drive away with its winding canals and waterways - you can hire a boat for the day and explore.

You could also make a visit to Futurscope near Poitiers.

The Deux-sevres region has countless places of interest and visitor attractions to suit everyone.

The area is steeped in history offers unspoilt landscapes and some of Europe's most imposing Tumuli, Romanesque churches, chateaux and museums. The quiet roads will lead you to unexpected places, rivers, lakes, forests, historic towns, small villages with colourful markets and during the summer months, a range of festivals and events.

The wonderful nearby coastline and beautiful islands of the Atlantic are all under 2 hours away.

This region is a great place to take a Cycling holiday with virtually traffic free roads and beautiful scenery.

In this part of France riders of Motor Cycles are welcomed, any traffic on the road will move out of the Motor Bike's way and gladly let you pass, and with sleeping arrangements for 14 - this would be a great get together place for a Motor Bike Club or a group of motor bike enthusiasts.
