The house is set in an acre of garden with fruit and oak trees. Ideal for family picnics and BBQ's, and secure for children. Plenty of room for children to get rid of their excess energy !! Hide and seek comes to mind . Plenty of secure parking also. Easy walking distance to the centre of our friendly village for bakery, bar, 2 reataurants and hairdresser. There are 2 superstores 5 minutes away in Bressuire. Bressuire is a beautiful town with everything that you will need or want. The area enjoys the famous micro climate giving warmer weather. It is known to be the second hottest part of France. For the fishing enthusiast there is Europes largest fishing resort - Resort Pescalis approx. 20 kms. Puy Du Fou is a wonderful historic park with breathtaking shows. Also there is Futurscope, a wonderful experience which celebrates film and moving images. The Loire valley region can be reached in 40 minutes - beautiful scenery, picnic area, wine tasting and not to be forgotten the Troglodyte village - wonderful to see. There is something to cover everyone's interest in our area - young and old alike. There is tennis, swimming, horse riding, golf within 30 minutes, rural countryside retreats, some amazing walks and Bressuire Chateau to tour around

The Poitou-Charentes / Vendee / Deux Sevres region
With the sunniest climate in Western France, this area is one of the most unspoilt in the country. The Atlantic coast has gentle sandy beaches, with bridged islands like Oléron and Ré, to be explored just offshore. The coast also boasts excellent golf courses and seaside resorts like La Rochelle, which is best discovered on foot.
Bressuire / St Porchaire area
The Chateau Bressuire is well worth a visit. Although the beaches are app. an hour away they are beautiful especially with the seafood restaurants all around. Driving anywhere is easy as the roads are reasonably quiet

Further details indoors: We have a large conservatory off the dining room 12m x 3m, giving a further seating area for 6 people. The loung/dining room is L shaped. All of the rooms are large and hopefully we have created a very relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen has plenty of workspace and cupboards and also another dining table for 4.
Further details outdoors: There is a porch at the front of the building which is lovely to relax in for either breakfast or evening drinks. The garden is mainly grass with fruit trees oaks and some shrubs. The garden is i acre and private so you can enjoy picnics and BBQ's when you just want to stay at home. The neighbours are very nice and friendly. There are some lovely short walks (or bicycle rides) around in the area.

Conditions
Initial booking deposit of 10% will be required and the balance to be received 2 weeks before arrival date. A damage deposit of £100 will be required for small items - T.V. - video etc. This cheque will be returned by our key holder on the day of departure.
We do expect the house to be left in good clean order as found, otherwise cleaning charge will apply. These charges are not over the top, just enough to make the next guests feel welcome in a claean house.
