Damson Cottage has a private garden with a stream running through and a lovely view of the hills. A BBQ and garden furniture are provided during the winter months and there are plenty of logs for the wood burning stove stored in the nearby pig cot for during the winter time. Damson Cottage is a perfect retreat and cosy cottage for two people.

The Powys/Brecon Beacons region

Alltybrain Farm is situated 4 miles from Brecon up its own lane in the beautiful rural Honddu Valley. This is a truly unspoilt area with wonderful views of the Welsh countryside and the Brecon Beacons.

The B4520 runs along the Honddu river valley from the old market town of Brecon up over the Eppynt Hills into Mid Wales to the historic town of Builth Wells famous for the Royal Welsh Show which is held annually here every July.


Damson Cottage is 4 miles from Brecon and 8 miles from The Brecon Beacons National Park Visitors' Centre. Here holiday makers in Wales can gain an insight into both our historic past and our Welsh heritage and culture. Information on our wildlife, countryside and what we are doing to help balance of nature and our native wildlifes' habitat. Visitors can choose to explore on their own or be part of an organised trip.

"Charming cottage ideal for a relaxing break"
