Folly Farm Cottage is a beautiful, individual 15th century thatched cottage located in the ever popular village of Braunton.

The cottage offers tremendous character alongside modern design and is stylishly presented throughout. Original features such as leaded windows and latch doors, mixed with quality modern furnishings, make this a real "home from home."

Some of the UKs best surfing beaches are just minutes drive away. We provide a free car park pass for guests for our closest beach of Saunton Sands and for nearby Braunton Burrows.

The property has 4 bedrooms, 2 reception rooms, a stunning kitchen/diner, a family bathroom, walk in shower and wash basin in the master bedroom and a further washstand in the downstairs double bedroom. Linen and bath towels included. Free wi fi.

The cottage has a lovely garden and patio area with a storage shed for outdoor equipment. Off road parking for 2/3 cars.

Sleeping 8-10 this is a high standard, good size accommodation for a large family or group. Available July and August.

This thriving ever popular village is well located for visitors to access all the beauty and interest that North Devon has to offer . It is a great place to be based as it offers a fantastic variety of individual cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops - all within 5 minutes walk of Folly Farm cottage. Visitors can enjoy The Braunton Museum and Countryside centre and The Museum of British Surfing. Hire outlets are plentiful for all kinds of outdoor pursuits.

Situated close to the UNESCO biosphere reserve of Braunton Burrows with its spectacular dune systems, only 1.5 miles from the fabulous surfing beach of Saunton Sands and close to Croyde, Putsborough and Woolacombe. Throughout the year these local beaches play host to such events as national surf and watersport competitions and the annual Goldcoast Oceanfest music/surf festival.

There are many beautiful walks and cycle trails to be explored in and around -including the stunning South West coast path, taking in Baggy and Mort point and the 30 mile Tarka Cycle Trail.

Saunton Golf Club with its 18 hole championship links courses is 1.5 miles.

Away from the beaches, families can easily access a range of fun activities for all ages- Watermouth Castle Theme Park, Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park, quad biking, horseriding, The Tarka Tennis Centre, Barnstaple Leisure Centre, ten pin bowling ....

"All -round excellent property"
