The lhouse is very comfortably furnished with Habitat sofa and new beds with excellent mattresses. Each double bedroom has access each side of the bed and soft furnishings and linen and soft furnishings new and luxurious. The kitchen is supremely well equipped with Smeg cooker. In the main kitchen is dishwasher and small fridge with adjacent utility room containing large fridge/freezer, washing machine and dryer. Downstairs shower room is situated here too.

The house is set in hamlet of three, but facing away from the other houses and is very private. It is accessed down short track. The house faces, for now, rough garden, but wonderful space for play. Beyond that is woodland and owners field to the right

Because of the large span of people the house can contain rental prices, we feel, need to be negotiated each time but will be between £600 - £2000 -per week

The house's location is at the top of a hill surrounded by woodland and wildlife with beautiful, historic villages, St Jean de Cole, Brantome, Nontron situated within easy distance. There are chateaux and rivers, the Dronne and the Cole. Thiviers is a comfortable, traditional, working town 7km away, with all amenities. Wildlife, wild boar, deer, many birds and beautiful walks, cycle rides and horse tracks surround the house.
The Brantome / St Pierre de Cole area
Brantome and St. Jean de Cole, both within 10 -15 mins distance are amongst the most beaufiul villages in France. Brantome's weekly market is famous and in the season there are fetes in most villages. Nanteuil, 15mins drive, has lake and beach and in Thivier and Negronde -1km there are tennis courts. Horse riding and fishing within the close locality. The area is for those who love the countryside

The farmhouse is situated in the countryside; plenty of open space for children to play. The home has all the modern necessities to cook, sleep and enjoy a stay in the countryside. The property manager lives two doors away and was very helpful with all requests. The environment is relaxing. |
