The Old Cow Stall sleeps 4 guests in two bedrooms, one double (King size) and one twin/superking. The downstairs area is open planned with a spacious lounge/kitchen diner with a separate W.C. Upstairs there is a white modern fitted bathroom with bath/shower and W.C and two spacious and well furnished bedrooms each with a flat screen television. Outside is an enclosed private patio with seating and off road parking for two cars. All is newly converted to a high specification.
One of the larger barns to be converted, the Old Cow stall was used in the very early days for milking by hand (with a stall and bucket!) Due to a sympathetic conversion this barn provides spacious living areas, light and airy in the summer months and warm and comforting in the winter.
The Old Cow Stall backs onto open hill side with access to a public footpath leading to the heritage coastal footpath. The ‘Fountain Head’ inn is just a few minutes walk from the property serving renowned locally brewed beers and food daily.
Essential Information: TV, DVD, Radio, Electric hob and oven, Washing machine, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Bed linen and towels included. Under floor heating throughout. One small pet strictly by arrangement charged at £20.00 per week. No smoking. Mobile phone reception is not reliable in Branscombe.

East Devon provides us with the beautiful Jurassic Coast. With Devon famous for its historic towns and quaint villages, Branscombe doesn't let you down. Nearby there are two national parks, Dartmoor and Exmoor that also provide glorious walks and stunning scenery. With seaside resorts in abundance and a mild climate, East Devon is a very popular place to visit for relaxation and intrigue.
The charming village of Branscombe is part of the East Devon Area of Outstanding and Natural Beauty and also falls on the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.
As well as these two distinguished awards, there is the simple fact that the views around Branscombe are absolutely stunning at every time of year. Quite apart from the gorgeous beach and surrounding countryside, there are some amazing historic buildings within the village of Branscombe itself. The Norman church is wonderful, as is the unique thatched forge which is still in use.
Branscombe is well sited for exploring the rest of East Devon, the coastal footpath runs west from Branscombe to Sidmouth or east to Beer and Seaton. From Branscombe it is an easy day trip to anywhere in East Devon, Exeter, West Dorset or Torbay.
