Post Office Cottage is a good quality and well equipped terraced property in Tindale Fell. There is a ground floor single, a first floor double with an en-suite shower room, and a first floor room with a super king-size double which can be offered as a twin if required, and an en-suite bathroom which can also be accessed from the landing for use by the ground floor room if occupied. There is a ground floor cloakroom attached to the utility. The kitchen has a dining area and a woodburning stove, with a second woodburning stove in the sitting room. Outside is off road parking, and a garden with patio and lovely country views. Post Office Cottage makes an ideal base for family or friends throughout the year.

Situated in the heart of the lush Eden Valley, Appleby-in-Westmorland was originally the county town of Westmorland and is a major stop on the Settle-to-Carlisle Railway -one of the most beautiful train journeys in Britain. A vast number of these old steam trains travel along this famous line and over the awe-inspiring Ribblehead viaduct, giving patrons a chance to see the landscape from a whole new perspective. People who visit Appleby in July will experience the Jazz Festival – an event that is fast becoming a popular attraction – whilst throughout the year guests can enjoy a walk on the Pennine Way at Dufton or explore one of the local cycle trails. Pooley Bridge, Penrith and the Lake District are all within easy reach, making this is an ideal holiday location.
