Bramerton area

Bramerton is a small village south east of Norwich on the River Yare. There are public moorings at Bramerton common and good food is served at the nearby Bramerton Woods End pub.

The network of quiet country lanes and footpaths offer cycling and walking from the door. River motor launches can be hired locally to explore the expanse of the Norfolk Broad waterways, plentiful with wildlife and ample opportunity to visit the many riverside inns. RSPB nature reserve nearby. Easy drive of Norfolk's finest coastline with many of its widest sandy beaches backed with dunes, and traditional seaside resorts. Norwich, 5 miles, for shopping, restaurants, cafes, market place, cathedral, castle museum, theatre, cinema and leisure complex with indoor swimming pool. An ideal location to explore the wealth of activities and places of interest throughout both the Norfolk and Suffolk counties. Shops 5 miles, pub 800 yards.

How to get there

By car turn off the A146 from Norwich to Lowestoft just outside Norwich and follow this road until you see the signs to Bramerton and 'Woods End' pub.

The property is just past the Pub on the right hand side in front of the river

1st comment: The property was very spacious - more so than expected. it also has lovely views from the front and the most has been made of this with the large windows and balcony overlooking the river. it was very nice to be able to walk along the river from the property directly from the property. the kitchen was equipped extremely well and we found everything that we possibly could have wanted. Dec 2005.
