This stone built, end of terrace cottage sleeps two people in the village of Bradwell near to Buxton in the Peak District National Park.Elder Bank is a stone-built, end terrace cottage situated in the village of Bradwell, just eleven miles from Buxton in the Peak District National Park. With one double bedroom and a bathroom, the cottage is ideal for a couple looking for a romantic holiday. The accommodation also contains a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a dining table, oak beams and an open fire. Outside the cottage is off road parking for one car, storage for bikes and walking equipment and a lawned garden to the front of the property with a patio area, garden furniture and a BBQ. With the local amenities just a couple of minutes walk away, Elder Bank is a fabulous cottage for a couple looking to get away from it all.

Amenities: Gas central heating with open fire in sitting room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, 2 x TVs, DVD player, CD/radio, WiFi, library of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and initial supply of fuel for the open fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car. Secure storage available for bikes and walking equipment. Lawned garden to front of property with patio area, garden furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs 2 mins walk. Note: Adults only - this property is not suitable for children or infants. Note: There are 10 steps up to the entrance of the property with no handrail support, care to be taken

Region: The ultimate in "year-round" appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Town: Set between the Hope Valley and Bradwell Dale, the village of Bradwell is located within the Peak National Park. Bagshawe Cavern - reached by 130 steep steps - sits on the edge of the village and serves as a reminder of its mining history whilst nearby the famous Peak, Blue John, Treak Cliff and Speedwell Caverns are all worth visiting. Also close by is the David Mellor Design Museum, positioned in the village of Hathersage whilst the little picturesque town of Castleton is overlooked by the crumbling Mam Tor, or 'Shivering Mountain'. Bradwell itself provides visitors with a range of shops, pubs and places to eat and makes an excellent base from which to enjoy this fascinating and beautiful part of the country.

A little gem!

Elder Bank may be small, but it is so cosy and has everything in it that you could want for a week away. The bed was really comfortable, and everything was spotless. Highly recommended.
