It's easy to get around with a good network of roads and excellent public transport. There are many places of interest including some lovely towns and villages such as Bakewell, Buxton and Ashbourne as well as historical attractions like Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. To the north of the region is the High Peak, with miles of heather moorland and great country walks and cycling.
Situated in the pretty village of Bradwell, guests of Swallow's Nest can enjoy the benefits of the local amenities as well as the rolling countryside which surrounds the property. The Hope Valley in general has plenty to offer the discerning visitor, with miles of unspoilt landscapes to discover, as well as quaint little villages (such as Hope and Castleton and Edale), vibrant market towns (such as Bakewell) and numerous walking and cycling trails, the area is a real hit with anyone with a passion for the outdoors.
