Overlooking a lake teeming with bird life and championship golf course, this luxury villa is situated within the Stoney Brook gated golfing community at Heritage Harbor. The house is on a quiet loop and sleeps up to 10 people. It has a large screened lanai with dining table and chairs and loungers and heated pool. The large open plan central living area boasts an entrance hall, dining table for 6, spacious lounge with wide screen TV and DVD player, extra sitting area with sofas ideal for quiet reading time, fully fitted open kitchen and breakfast table and breakfast bar. There is a laundry room with washer, dryer and sink.
The master bedroom has an super kingsize bed with large plasma TV, en suite bathroom with walk in shower, two vanity basins, bath and enormous walk in closet. Bedroom 2 is fitted with a queen size bed, bedroom 3 and The bonus room upstairs and has a sofa, Lazy boy chairs, bathroom, seating area, TV and large walk-in wardrobe. The house is fully air conditioned. Large garage with automatic remote door.

The Florida / Florida Gulf Coast region
Whatever you're looking for in a holiday, you're sure to find it in Florida - as millions of visitors have discovered over the years, this place has it all! If you want to relax on the beach and make the most of the perfect weather (Florida isn't called the "Sunshine State" for nothing!), it's just a 20 minute drive from our property to the world famous white-sand beaches of Anna Maria Island, Sarasota Bay and Longboat Key. All of these are perfect for water sports, swimming, fishing or just lazing on the sand and soaking up the sun! If you feel like being a bit more active, then Florida is also an excellent location for golfers, with several courses in the vicinity.
On the other hand, if your idea of a great holiday is to hit the shops, then you'll also find what you're looking for here in Florida! Both Bradenton and Sarasota are home to numerous shops and malls, while only 15 minutes drive away at Ellenton you will find one of the largest outlet malls in Florida. For those with more expensive tastes, the exquisite St Armand's Circle just outside Sarasota boasts a number of top-class boutiques and restaurants.
For thrill-seekers and children of all ages, the world-famous theme parks of Orlando (including Disney's Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Universal Studios) are an 80-90 minute drive away, while Busch Gardens is under an hour’s drive away.
Bradenton / Heritage Harbor area
Some activities we recommend you try in the Bradenton/Heritage Harbor area are:
Golf: The property is conveniently located inside a 27-hole golf complex, while for really keen golfers looking for a new challenge there are numerous other courses in the surrounding area, many less than 30 minutes' drive away.
Fishing on Lake Manatee: Just 15 minutes away from Bradenton, Lake Manatee offers excellent fishing and is brimming with catfish, bluegill, bass and perch. If you're not so keen on fishing, there is also a swimming are and boats are available for renting.
Beaches: The property is conveniently located within 20 minutes' drive of some of the best beaches in the Gulf Coat area, including Anna Maria Island and Siesta Beach.
Cultural events: Culture vultures need not worry during their trip to Florida. The Van Wezel Theatre Hall has been running since 1970, and continues to draw visitors with an exciting programme of theatre and music. The internationally recognised Ringling Museum of Art, meanwhile, has just re-opened following a multi-million dollar restoration. On display are several significant pieces of European and American art.
Rainy days are much rarer in Florida than they are in the UK, but if the sky does look a little overcast and you don't want to risk a trip to the beach then why not try the Mote Marine Aquarium? This fascinating museum has exhibits on over 200 marine animals and even has giant screens and surround sound to help you to explore life as a shark!
How to get there
Cheap flights with skyjet.co.uk, ebookers.com, mytravel and for flydrives please try Virgin Holidays for excellent flight times and prices. Orlando is around 1.5-2 hours drive from villa, but usually better prices and flight times. Car hire preferences for us are Dollar and Alamo, but these are cheaper if booked through a flydrive deal. Please be aware that car seats for children are usually an extra cost charged on collection of car - airlines allow you to take your own car seat free of charge in the hold (extra to baggage allowance). Some of the larger cars have inbuilt car seats.

Further details indoors: The villa is furnished and decorated to a very high standard and the pool, lawns and plants are tended weekly to make your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as humanly possible. There is air conditioning throughout, plus ceiling fans in all rooms except the bathrooms
Further details outdoors: The swimming pool area is completely screened. Whilst the pool naturally maintains an enjoyable temperature in the summer months, it will obviously be cooler in the winter. If you require a warmer pool in those months, the pool heater can be turned on for you at an extra cost. (This service must be ordered at time of booking). Poolside chairs, loungers, table and large parasol are provided.
