Located in the quiet, pleasant North Lakes residential area of Bracknell, it is just off the A322, virtually next door to the Hilton Hotel and a few minutes drive from Junction 3 of the M3. The apartment is very convenient for Ascot racecourse which is just a 12-minute drive away, as well as for Windsor, Crowthorne, Sandhurst, Reading and Woking.

The accommodation is on the ground floor and has no internal stairs. With its own private front door entrance and garden, the property has a cottage ambience. It overlooks landscaped grounds to the front and is within a short walk of a pleasnat park with scenic lake and children's play area. The South Hill Park Arts Centre and Wilde Theatre are a few minutes walk from the property.

The town centre can be reached in 15 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by car. There is a bus stop close by. Within a few minutes drive of both the M3 and M4, and to close rail links to London and the South West, the property is convenient for commuters. Heathrow airport is a 20-minute drive.

This region is popular with tourists because of proximity to the great attractions of Windsor Castle and Windsor Great Park, Lego Land, and Ascot racecourse. Bracknell itself is a thriving town with many companies located there providing telecommunications and computer services. Bracknell has a good shopping centre and excellent links to London, Heathrow, Reading, Woking and the South West,


The area is quiet and residential in a leafy road with well kept properties. Close by is the Coral Reef water theme park and the Look Out adventure trail. Also a short walk away is a lovely lake and park and the cultural South Park Arts Centre and Wilde Theatre. The Hilton Hotel is almost next door and has a bar and restaurant. Just up the road is a large Sainsbury's supermarket. Also near by is the indoor ski centre and ice rink.

"Small but perfectly formed!"

We were attending a family wedding with 2 kids under 2, so this apartment was absolutely perfect for us. Great location, close to a good supermarket (and Starbucks!!) and in a quiet estate. The apartment itself was fully equipped with everything we needed, and very clean. And it was all so simple to access and book. I would highly recommend it.

"Lovely flat in quiet location was great for a base for sight seeing in surrounding area."

This was a great location for us. We visited Ascot, Windsor, Kew Gardens and Hampton Court Palace. All were within driving distance. London about one hour by train. Large supermarket very close by.
Flat was very comfortable and contained everything needed. Felt quite at home here.

"Home from home!"

We have stayed many times at Palm Tree Cottage and every time it has felt like 'home from home'! Everything you could want from a self contained accommodation! The beds are particularly comfortable! There is a lovely little patio with the property which is ideal when the weather is fine and great for BBQs ( and for drying your washing! ). Also, a great location and close to all amenities including a supermarket and two rail stations. All in all, a great find and we shall certainly continue to stay here!

"Spacious accommodation in quiet location"

Very well equipped and furnished ground floor flat. Quiet location but close enough to a main road for easy access to other places. Not possible to park directly outside the flat but parking only about 100 meters away so not a big problem. Flat had everything we needed but for me the bed was a little uncomfortable as it was very firm but that is a matter of personal taste. Overall we found the flat just what we needed to visit family, friends etc in the area and will probably use it again next year.
