The West Sussex region

This area enjoys some of the best levels of sunshine in Southern England. It also boasts numerous historical places of interest, such as the Roman Palace at Fishhbourne, the Weald & Downland Open Air Museum. Goodwood House and Stansted Park are also fascinating places to visit, as is Arundel Castle. Spinnaker tower in Portsmouth has some of the best panoramic views in the south.

Bracklesham Bay is a coastal village popular with wind surfers, surfers, sun seekers, families and generally anyone seeking a restful or active holiday. It is also a very popular destination for divers, with some excellent spots just a few miles off the coast. The village has some useful local shops and restaurants and there are more extensive facilities in the nearby village of East Wittering. Just further along from East Wittering is the famous sandy beach of West Wittering, regarded as one of the best beaches in the south of England. The cathedral city of Chichester lies just a few miles to the north and it offers a good range of shops, the beautiful cathedral and the internationally renowned Festival Theatre. Goodwood is also within driving distance and has the famous race course as well as motor sports events. The larger towns of Portsmouth and Brighton can be accessed by road or by rail from Chichester.

"A good place to stay for up to six people"

Service with the agency was good. The owner was helpful when two issues (waste disposal and TV) occurred. Spacious bungalow in good condition with two bathrooms. Drawers but no wardrobe in second bedroom. Local pub and eating places; not far by car from shops in East Wittering. Stony beach with interesting fossils near by; sandy beach at West Wittering (car park charge).

"Fabulous place to stay!"

The bungalow was beautifully decorated, clean and had everything you could possibly want. The garden is quite large and we were able to sit out when the weather allowed! The owners were welcoming and very helpful.

Thank you for your review of Milldale in Bracklesham Bay. We are really pleased that you enjoyed your stay and if we can be of any help to you in the future, please do just let us know. Many thanks, Pallant Holiday Lets

"Great house, convenient location."

We chose Mildale because my elderly mother isn't too good with stairs. We had stayed at another (more expensive, less good) property in Bracklesham before and hadn't managed to visit everything. House was spotless, really well equipped, and with loads of room. The garden was lovely, private and sunny. The WiFi was a nice touch. Bracklesham is not the prettiest of places, but it's a good base for visiting places that are! We hope to come back in a year or so.

Thank you for your review of Milldale in Bracklesham Bay. It is great to see that you enjoyed your stay and if we can be of any assistance to you in the future, please do just let us know. Kind regards, Pallant Holiday Lets
