This semi-detached cottage with original beams and stonework is set in almost 2 acres of beautiful countryside, with wildlife on your doorstep, surrounded by farmland. A warm welcome awaits you at the end of the track from the owners, who live next door, with many quality comforts and extras to make your stay relaxed and effortless.

With breath-taking scenery, the ruggedness of Dartmoor is waiting to be explored. Ideal for walkers or for the more adventurous on and off road cycling, climbing, horse riding, Letterboxing or Geocaching. Haytor Rocks, 2 miles away, is considered to be Dartmoor's most famous landmark. Once you have discovered Dartmoor, the delightful South Devon coast beckons with unspoilt beaches. Dawlish Warren, part of the Exe estuary, is a favourite with wildlife enthusiasts, and Teignmouth offers a more traditional seaside experience with its Victorian pier. Brixham, approximately 20 miles away, is a small but busy fishing town. Sample the seafood, take a boat trip or browse the art galleries. Nearby Bovey Tracey has a good selection of shops, restaurants and pubs and is home to the Devon Guild of Craftsmen.

Step to well-equipped kitchen: electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Outside: beautiful countryside views, wildlife pond (please take care with children) and wildlife including woodpeckers, buzzards and occasionally deer. Private large enclosed garden with patio area, BBQ, garden furniture and access to large orchard. Amenities: parking for 2 cars. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and wi-fi included. Additional info: maximum occupancy is 4 including an infant. 10 minutes walk up nearby woodland tracks leads you to the privately owned Ullacombe Farm with alpacas, ponies, cows, sheep and café farm shop. Location: shops 2.5 miles, pub 2 miles, local farm shop and cafe 0.5 miles and beach 14 miles. Arrival: 3pm.
