The Cotswolds region

The Cotswolds is many peoples' favourite holiday location. It offers something to do all year round and yet is straightforward to get to and from. The local yellow limestone gives all the local properties and dry stone walls a soft and warm feel. Bourton is in the River Windrush valley so has a sheltered mild climate - in fact the river is a favoured place to paddle.

Jack's House is within a very short walking distance of all the village facilities:Bourton-on-the-Water village has a zoological birdpark, model village, model railway, motor museum, Bourton Lakes coarse fisheries, perfumery workshop, Pottery, children's indoor playbarn, swimming pool, maze and a good range of specialist shops.

There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars in the village and nearby hamlets. The village is at the centre of the network of Cotswold footpaths.

Jack's House is a lovely home from home with lots of little touches which makes a perfect holiday stay. The standard of the furnishings and cleanliness is extremely high, and it contains everything you need for a weekend or a week away. Very central, so no car is required. "Lovely accommodation"

Jacks House is an excellent base for Bourton-on-the-Water, everything in just on your doorstep yet away from the main road. The accommodation is alot more roomy then portraited in the photo's and both bedrooms have very good storage. Kitchen very well equiped and a good size. Toys and books for the children all added to the well thought out holiday cottage. The rear courtyard is a lovely sunny spot to relax.
Owner very good at getting back intouch with any queries while booking, and caters for your needs.

"Lovely Cottage - great location - home from home!"

Jack's cottage was beautiful, well maintained and clean. We had a lovely stay here and wish we had stayed longer.
The cottage is right in the centre of Bourton-on-water, literally 2minutes walk to the riverside, restaurants and shops.
There was space for two cars to park. The garden though small was sunny and had table, chairs and parasol which were lovely.
The house itself was lovely - really clean and the owner had clearly made a lot of effort to make it welcoming for us (wine, biscuits, tea, coffee etc). There was nothing missing.
Can't recommend this cottage enough - we had a lovely time!
